I've been coming to see Dr Yassa for about 7 or 8 years. He knows his stuff. I live in Ferntree Gully, and I would rather travel the 30mins to him on the train, than see a GP in my suburb. He's polite, friendly, very knowledgeable, compassionate, honest, and has a great sense of humour. He tells me what I need to know about my chronic illness, and is happy to work with my specialists at Box Hill Hospital.

Fantastic doctors. Very compassionate and always very professional. Excellent support staff, Marisa and Leonie. They are the best in Australia.

We have had Dr Yassa as our MD for over 35 years and in that time he has helped us with our family injuries and illnesses. This clinic is super busy and there is a wait time because the doctors all care & do not turn anyone away in need. The receptionists are friendly and understanding even when sometimes there are people that are rude and impatient. Our family is so grateful for the help, care and patience Dr Yassa and staff give us.

Dr Yassa is Ok but not very good so you can chose the other clinics nearby to compare. Every time delay and no reason. The reception is not professional and when you booking the appointment asked some questions usually not confirmed by the Dr so I went there because I asked bulk bill for sth but when I see the dr need charge extra 100 bucks. Even I told him the reception confirmed with me it’s bulk bill. It’s the second time. No apologies for that at all, if you don’t pay extra just leave. Disappointed 😔

Usually a very reliable clinic and I have nothing but nice things to say to the doctors who work there, but the more time I have interacted with one particular receptionist - Leonie - the more disappointed I get. I wish we lived in a time where the receptionist at your local GP wasn't outwardly racist and rude, but unfortunately that's not the case. Of the 3 patients I saw walk in and out of the clinic during my last visit you could see a remarkable difference in treatment. She was downright unfriendly to all those of an Asian/Indian background and an absolute charm to the Caucasian customer. When I myself went up to ask if there would be much of a delay as I was already into a 40min wait past my appointment time she mumbled that the doctor was with someone, did not answer any of my follow up questions or look in my direction until I awkwardly sat back down. Absolutely disgraceful! Leonie, time to work on your bedside manner!

When you book the clinic, just get there at least 30 mins later and you can wait another 30 mins without any update. Treatment can be good or bad. But don’t waste your time.
