⚠ What I wanted, asked for and discussed BEFORE she started...
> I made it very clear I did not want lines (aka poor blending).
> I wanted a seamless blend from dark to brown
> I made it very clear I did not want any streakiness.
> I made it very clear I did not want any patchiness.
> The main concern I told Shandell was that I DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE WITH PATCHY OR STREAKY BLOND OR UNBLENDED LINES.

I showed her A LOT of similar style (not colour) photos and she ASSURED me that she had the skill set to successfully complete the job. I made mention when showing her the photos to not worry about the colour as the style was what i wanted her to see. She made me believe that she understood.

⚠ What I Got...
> A picture tells a thousand words - you can see for yourself the images (in thread below) of what I wanted (mentioned above) VS what I got. It's VERY bad.
> Shandell made it out like somehow this was my fault.

⚠ WARNING - If you choose to book in after reading this review...
> Shandell is confident but LACKS SKILL in blond application

> Shandell will b***h about other clients in her salon - especially those who write their honest reviews on forums such as this.

While Shandell offered to re-tone to "fix this issue" - she is insane to think that a tone would fix this. I've had 3 consults with other experienced hairdressers since seeing her - and this is a massive colour correction that will cost me approx $800 - $1000 and 10-12 hrs to fix.

Shandell also made it very clear that "we aren't a good fit" and "she's uncomfortable" in my request to fix it exactly like I wanted it initially based on the photos, so of course I didn't rebook in with her. How inappropriate and unprofessional.

I do not trust her abilities to correct the botch job she's already done, and you shouldn't either.

No amount of toning would ever get rid of this line across my head.

Stay clear.
