A Marrickville staple, and always has a great vibe. Ripper tunes, staff are super friendly, and its dog friendly to boot. Its also very kind to your wallet for a Sydney hotel - drinks are cheap, across a pretty extensive drinks list. Love me some TMH

My favourite pub in the world. Feels like I’m in a mate’s backyard (a very cool mate). Food from PhoPhd is 10/10 as well.

Love this place. Every thing you could wish for in a local. Phd Vietnamese to order at your table? You got it!

Tonnes of space inside, great beers on tap, a good ramge of spirits and bar food at the ready, this place is set for fun. There is tonnes of space in the venue, including a retractable skylight in the rear beer garden.

So far, the Marrickville Hotel is atotal win for pubs in the area. A solid choice if you're after a night out in the neighbourhood.

Love this place, both Bertie and Caitlin appreciate the friendly staff and quality choice of refreshing beverages. I repeatedly find myself gravitating towards the doors when I get off the bus, and the stop is right outside the door. Toasties are yummo, but you can order from PHD for a Vietnamese fix if that's your thing. Always interesting choices of music playing, be good to see maybe a DJ doing his/her thing on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon but that's a me thing and no way a criticism :)

This is one of the most lively pubs around Marrickville, especially on a weeknight.
Different promos available throughout the week, plenty of spots available inside and all the staff is really friendly. Reasonable prices for beer on tap too.
At the time of my visit they didn't have their own menu, but they've teamed up with Pho PHD next door to have some of their offering on site

Perfect balance of fancy and chilled, somewhere in between a bar and a pub feel. Absolutely amazing decor - always something exciting to look at, brilliant music all the time, tasty drinks and awesome specials Sunday to Wednesday. Bloody Marys are to die for. And beautiful, helpful, super friendly staff.

Definitely my favourite place in Marrickville and one of my top watering holes in Sydney. Clearly, so much love and soul went into making this place feel really special, whilst keeping it really homey and welcoming at the same time!

Great place, good drinks, fast service. When you first walk inside your greeted by a cozy wooden bar with great beer, wine and cocktails to offer. Then when you walk to the back, it opens up with fairy lights, greenery and long tables. The vibes here are amazing, they've done an amazing job with the space offering alot of places to sit and chat. Would come here again.

Dropped in for a quick one only to emerge many hours later after a few more quickies... It's that sort of place... An easy establishment to while away an afternoon.

Great hotel. Nice decor and great staff. The food is pretty good too. A memorable visit for this out of towner. The barman treated us to a story about the laboratory in Berghain in Germany so we've added that to our trip next year along with a funnel and some hose.

Great vibe and great staff, if you want some chill dri ks in Marrickville, look no further. Best of all the whole venue is dog friendly. Bring your puppy and enjoy meeting people across the bar! Food can be ordered at the bar and provided by Pho Phd down the street or delicious toasties. Good range of spirits and wines to choose from and a few beers on tap or in tinnies

Dave is so personable and friendly! Knows all the best drinks and great at recommending drinks tailored to your taste. Not afraid to let his hair down and boogie with patrons. Highly recommend the Marrickville Hotel!

Beautiful venue, friendly staff. Great ambiance in the front room! Love the building inside and out!
Great to come with a large group as they have a large semi outdoor area (no smoking still) with long tables suited for 10+ ppl. Maybe no so wheelchair accessible as there is only one bathroom downstairs and it's not very big.
