Fuji Mart Melbourne

This is such an awesome supermarket selling Japanese products! I’m so glad my friend introduced it to me as I would never have found it despite having gone to Prahran Market before. Location is quite hidden but surprisingly very near to the market.

Some of their household items are even cheaper than Daiso at $2:50!!

Went today and this is hands down the best Japanese supermarket in Melbourne!
Everything was completely Japanese, including the staff haha!

This was the best Japanese store that I have come across in Melbourne!! It really has goods other places does not have and quite good prices too. The smells inside of Japanese spices is nice too, made me quite hungry for no reason.

Fujimart has an awesome selection of Japanese everything. From Liquor to Eel, plates, sushi knives etc. Amazing choices and they have a limited supply of other Asian sauces etc

One of the best Japanese grocers I’ve seen in Australia. Lots of authentic and common Japanese staples all within reasonable price. Great variety of curry and natto to select from. Will definitely be my new local!

A very well stocked Japanese grocery has some household items such as kitchen utensils, stationery, dinnerware too. Handy as it is near the Prahran Market and a supermarket so you can your shopping together.

You can find a variety of Japanese food & products where they are really from Japan. You can sometimes find some Japan products are not made in Japan in other Asia markets. I will come back to this supermarket soon.

Fuji Mart is a very well stocked Japanese grocer as all other reviews mention. One grocery staple I always opt for here as a coeliac is the gluten-free soba noodles made from 100% buckwheat flour. They have a few different brands, bit pricey as expected in comparison to the dominating non-gf soba available but still fantastic to have this stocked!

Great Japanese grocery store with massive amounts of food preparing ingredients and seasonings. You can get various Japanese snacks and frozen desserts from this store.

One of the best Japanese grocers in Melbourne by far. Great variety of pantry ingredients, kitchen items and alcohol. Prices are fair as well.

My only go to place for my Japanese staples, Japanese mochi, frozen food for Japanese hot pot etc. Larger selections as compared to other Asian Grocers. Reasonable prices. Clean & spacious.

Well-stocked Japanese supermarket with a little Daiso-esque section for home goods. There are lots of frozen foods, pantry items, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks. You won't find fresh produce here but a very good range of almost anything you want to have in your pantry. Prices are what you'd expect in Melbourne, 2-3 times the retail price in Japan but they often have specials/discount items. They have a loyalty card system and you can get one hour free parking for the paid parking across the street if you spend over a certain amount. It's a nice little portal that makes you feel like you're in Japan.

Great supermarket for Japanese groceries. I've been coming here for decades and it never disappoints. Japenese cuts of frozen meats for authentic recipe making along with a myriad variety of soy, miso and necessary Japenese condiments for all tastes. The alcohol selection is also fantastic with lots of imported versions of your favourite brews. There is even a strong selection of Japanese spirits

I’d you are after any Japanese food items, this is the supermarket to visit. Amazing selection of Japanese groceries as well as a variety of small kitchen items for cooking, eating etc.

Most items they have multiple options which is great if you are after something specific and they also have a smaller selection of Korean food items as well.

Staff are warm and friendly. They accept credit card for spends over $10 and they do have their own loyalty program if you plan to go there regularly.

Very well-stocked Japanese groceries. As a Japanese food and products lover, this Japanese groceries is a heaven. You can get any Japanese products and food from here especially when missing Japan so much but cannot travel to Japan because of the current travel restriction. You can also find beauty products such as shampoo, hair colour, eyebrow mascara etc. A total gem for everyone who loves Japanese products.
