We went to try the happy hour promotion. husband had beef brisket and I had the gnocchi. Even though they were super busy, we were looked after well. staffs came and served us. food was better than other pub style places. we were happy and satisfied. definitely will recommend 👌 portions well sized. menu was limited but taste wise good.

Went for lunch on Father's Day, and I had a great time. Good service and food, too.
Kid's meal-fish and chips, fish was melting in mouth and could tell wasn't a cheap drozen fish served.
Nice spot away from the busy The Parade, but it's still pretty cool and has its own parking, too

Great hotel with the best staff. Always friendly, knowledgeable and they go above and beyond to make people feel welcome and looked after. Cannot recommend another hotel more than The Col on The Parade. Such a different mix of patrons makes it very comfortable for females I’ve found. Can be super busy when the Norwood football finishes!

OMG. The new ice is so spectacular ! So clear and perfectly rectangular ! If only they'd introduced this ice earlier I would have consumed more ice appropriate drinks !

I hope that they continue this frozen water into the future !

Best pub in Adelaide! We recently hosted a function here and the staff were top tier in every aspect. The Colonist staff are the best in the business - friendly, accomodating and knowledgeable. You will be in safe hands if you ever host an event at The Col!

The atmosphere is quirky, the staff were excellent and the food delicious. There is a new menu. I had the mushroom fettuccine, which was lovely and a generous portion. The deserts are huge and 2 vegan options. They've added their own spin to the traditional banana split and chocolate sundae but oh so yummy. I suggest sharing between 2 or 3 people. Thanks Jason and crew for a great evening.

This became our local during our recent visit to Norwood. Happy hour was great and love the diversity of the staff; nice to see after traveling across SA. Looks like this is a local for people in the neighborhood so good people watching.

Excellent pub experience. Great atmosphere and very popular. Excellent variety of drinks and some great craft brews on tap. We had a few nrbbles and the quality was excellent. The place really came alive after knockoff and I could see why it's a popular watering hole. I look forward to returning someday.

Lovely original building. Great service and tasty food and daily specials.

Came here with family, we all enjoyed our meals and service was prompt. Chicken Burger I had was great ! :)

Great service, food and vibe. Absolutely loved the chicken breast and S&P squid.

Took the family out for lunch. Great selection of kids options (lunch and brekkie) and the brunch for the parents was top notch (we got the hash) and offered gluten free alternatives. Service is always great. Ate in the heated outdoor space.

Salmon was delicious. Isabelle gave us great table service. The ambience lovely.

Food was excellent, if a little pricey. I had Wagu Ragu gnochi that was tasty and worth the $33 I paid. Bread and butter pudding at $12 was very reasonably priced and tasted great. All nicely presented. The service was excellent. The young lady who served us was friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back.

Dined here last Wednesday for their schnitzel special night - I ended up having the parmy that wasn’t included in the special - but it was delish! Prob just go for the discount ones next time as they were the same size and quality just without the cheese. The service was fantastic- very entertaining staff. Really enjoyed it .

So I have been here a couple of times with my mum. I really do like the food here. I strongly recommend the arancini. They have such delicious flavours. My favourite is the mushroom one with blue cheese sauce. Omg so good. I ordered the crispy squid salad and my mum got the fish and chips. They both came with interesting salads and the sauces where also very nice. I had some sort of habanero zesty aioli and it was very spicy. Also I found the cuts of squid in triangles very unique.

It is quite pricey but it is really good food. If you can I'd done outside it can be a bit dark inside, it doesn't have great natural lighting indoors, it can feel a bit dingy but that's just a personal preference mine.

Had a terrific lunch at the Colonist.. Food was outstanding for the whole group and the Staff Team so attentive. Vibe in the Colonist fab.. Thanks also for the fire 🔥.

Lovely meal, great service. Been for drinks before, but never a meal. Would definitely go back for dinner.

We ordered the steak and the chicken burger which were both amazing!! Steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken burger was very tasty!! Would recommend this venue to anyone in Adelaide. Fast service, very friendly staff and overall an amazing night. Cheers Colonist, will see you again soon.

What a great little pub. Such a nicely decorated interior and great atmosphere!

Prices are a little bit on the pricier side but food quality is really great and the customer service is very good too.
