Amazing vintage store! Such a massive collection, and it even has a lot of mens clothes which I find is pretty rare for vintage shops. Angelica was such a great help with finding a suit for a 1920s themed party too!

We came across "A star is worn" by chance and what a star find it was! Fantastic clothes, shoes, colours and variety of everything else 60's and 70's you could think of. The owner stocks a mix of genuine and made-to-look like vintage clothes. We didn't know where to turn first and the prices are very reasonable. Well worth the walk further down the Parade!

Omg this shop is sooooooo good! They have so many beautiful things and good prices. Best part they have Afterpay!!! Owners are friendly and chatty. Will definitely go there again ❤❤❤❤

Nice 70s/80s stuff, expect to pay $$$

If it was possible to give no stars that would be what I’d do. My friends and I were greeted by a middle aged man who began by accusing me of taking photos of his clothing (which I wasn’t, I even gave him permission to look through my phone gallery as proof) and potentially coming in to steal. He was very accusing and rude. I tried to talk to him about the rude manner he was speaking to me in, to which he would not own up to and kept saying we will have to agree to disagree. Despite that, I still encouraged my friends to buy from the shop as we had all been really keen to buy some vintage clothing. When she went up to him to ask if she could try something on, he told her “good luck, you have to learn somehow” while looking at her figure. She thought he was fat shaming her but we weren’t sure. When she returns the clothing as they didn’t fit, he proceeded to reiterate that she had to learn somehow that she’s not skinny enough… I’m really under playing how disrespectful this man was as I really can’t be bothered writing much more but we definitely won’t be returning. We came in a group and we’re all planning to buy something that day as we had seen items of interest during a previous visit. We had friends that found things that did fit that they liked but they put them back as we did not want to support a business place where customers get shamed and mistreated. I hope this review is taken as constructive criticism and future customers are not treated this way as it is definitely not a cheap shop so a good experience definitely helps.
