Royal Treasure Emerald Square Burwood
1st things first - Get there either just before they open otherwise definitely before 11 a.m. on a Saturday.
From 11.30a.m. it gets very busy so expect to wait outside.
Just 2 of us having yum cha. We arrived at 11.20am and waited about 20 minutes before being called in to be seated
The staff were great and each have their own job to do so dont expect every staff member to assist or help with anything other then their assigned roles.
Ie. Sauce, drinks etc then ask thise wearing white shirts.
Trolleys will only serve food. You ask for chilli sauce dont expect anything.
All black outfit and no trolly are only cleaning and resetting so dont expect any acknowledgement or eye contact.
Excellent yum-cha tastes freshly made and with quality ingredients, good choice and great service. Extremely popular with the locals so our 20 minute from 11.20am was expected for the 2 of us. Still for us worth the wait.
The yum cha is excellent, delicious, fresh and plentiful.
The service was efficient but void of any personality and to be fair we didn't expect anything other then fresh hot food to be delivered consistently.
The room was packed and staff always working and moving. The restaurant is upstairs in Emerald Square with parking underneath the building with access from Wynne Avenue, Burwood.
I wiukd say this has to be one of the best Yum Cha restaurants in Sydney with offered range of dim sum.
Turnover is quick considering there are loads of tables and chairs that can chop and change to cater for various group sizes.
Baby chairs are available should you need.
If you have a large group I would strongly recommend getting there before they open otherwise you could be waiting a while.
Overall we can't fault the rage on offer and the quality of the yum cha dishes.
Highly recommended.
Yum Cha card says to "pay at the table"
Note that you get up and take the card to the register to pay they do not take payment at your table.

Great place to have lobster for reasonable price. Staff are friendly and service is prompt. There can be a bit of wait here depending on time/day. Most Weeknights should be ok except for Thursday and weekends you would have to get there early.

Nice shopping centre with lots of nice restaurants. Tried Richshaw Food which is a Singapore restaurant, very delicious food. Make me missed home even more. It's opened for 3 years and I didn't know about it! There's also a hotpot buffet restaurant on level 2 worth checking out.

Nice restaurant precinct, mainly Asian, Chinese & Korean cuisine. But some very nice places which will spoil you for choice.
Picture is of the new China town & back entrance to Emerard Square Burwood.
Loads of small tea houses give a new ambience to the Burwood shopping district.

This place is huge and it has everything that you can think of, from casual dining to fancy Japanese barbecue and sushi, from all you can eat hot pot buffet to karaoke, arcade, snooker and grocery store. It’s the place to visit when you live around Burwood. I come here regularly to get my dose of good food and fun. Parking is underground and has a council parking option, which is free and unlimited outside of work hours, or a 90 minute free parking option at the lowest level B3 provided by the Emerald Plaza building management.

Fu’s Northen Style is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area! Great customer service and was served quite quickly. Really good value for money. I got the lamb skewers which was very spicy but delicious. I also got the pork wonton soup, the wontons were tender and cooked to perfection. The soup was so flavourful, light and delicious. I would definitely recommend coming to this amazing restaurant in Burwood!

Went to play billiards/pool here. Was clean and fun. Open very late. Noisy and it's half an arcade too.

Great parking spots sometimes hard to get one, but easy access for a low car like mine.
Also the Centre itself looks great and modernize with a wide variety of asian restaurants
Plus it is super close to Chinatown Burwood.

Very nice mall. There are many different types of restaurant n most of them selling different kinds of yummy food. The location is clean n tidy. There are many parking spaces n it's very convenient to go to every shop or restaurant. It's a good place to visit again later.

This place is so good, the place feels super luxurious and the quality of the ingredients are so well put. Definitely try the handmade fishballs (though be careful, some are super spicy). Great with friends, and when it's your birthday they give 10% off! Btw, even if you don't have friends to celebrate your birthday with, they do personal hotpot anyway! So very winter safe

Great variety of restaurants and entertainment options all in one area. New and modern atmosphere creates a differnt experience compared to the rest of Burwood with a wealth of options available for a place to spend a day. Parking is also easily available and close proximity means easy access to major shopping stores.

Visited Rengaya for premium wagyu barbeque buffet. $95pp. One of the best Japanese barbeque at inner-west. Satisfied.

Such a great place to find some food and hang out with friends. Watch out for the parking though. You need to be out by 10pm or you will get charged a fee of $80

Love the new restaurants with convenient parking in basement below. However during peak periods it'll be hard to find free parking spots on B3

Great selection of cafes and restaurants here - each one is unique. The Rusty Rabbit Cafe is definitely worth a visit - as is Chonqing Street Noodle and the Best Chinese BBQ. There are more great Asian restaurants upstairs - and don't forget the amazing desserts at Dulcet. 😋

Many good restaurants.
Just be careful when you park. Upper level is operated by the council that means you need to pay for a spot but under grounds are free for 1and 1/2 hours. There is no 'ground level'. Like many asisan countries 'level 1' is ground level.
