This is our second time at Fat Boy Thai and it didn’t disappoint!
The food is fast, fresh and soo tasty!
We had the Green Curry & Pad See Ew and both were so good!
If you’re around Hawthorn, don’t even think just go 🥘😍

Went to this restaurant with friends and had a mix of small plates! The meals came out really quickly for a Saturday night and prices are very reasonable considering portions were quite generous

We ordered; coconut prawns, calamari, dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, roti bread, duck curry and steamed rice. My favourite was the duck curry as it was filled with lots of vegetables and duck pieces.

Definitely check them out!

Good vibe. However the pad thai is too salty, and the beef seems overcooked so it smell smoky. Thai milktea is nice and also the tomkha soup. Will try other thing but definitely not the pad thai.

I have been searching for a good Thai restaurant in Hawthorn and have now found my new favourite! The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and prompt, and the restaurant itself had a great ambience and atmosphere, even on a Tuesday night. Will definitely be coming back for many more meals here.

Fat Boy Thai is so damn good! Been having it for years, they have literally never missed on anything. A few mates & I went to their "new" spot on Glenferrie last night for dinner and it was so good, none of them had been and are ranting and raving how good it was.

Service was super quick, we had meals at our tables 15 minutes after arriving, everything was really fresh, yum and portions were generous. Also reasonably priced across the board.

The go-to Thai spot! Do yourself a favor and try them out if you haven't yet.

After fat boy moved and renovated, there are more spaces and cleaner.
Food are as good as before.
Fried food are great here - fried chicken, fried pork, fried Calamari.

This new Fat Boy shop is way more beautiful than the previous one.
Food taste is still great as before. Prices are reasonable.
My fav dish is basil fried rice with beef

I hadn't eaten at Fat Boy Thai for many years but my wife wanted Thai food so I went and ordered some. The service was good, friendly and efficient.

I had forgotten how good Fat Boy was, the green curry is excellent, all fresh ingredients including the curry paste. So many other Thai places had a serviceable creek curry but they all taste the same. Fat Boy's green curry is worth a detour.

I also ordered the Thai Chili Basil beef. It was also very tasty, not salty.

Great food, we eat here a lot. Wonderful staff too - we had to cancel and re-order a meal tonight due to Uber driver error, and the staff left us a lovely note for our inconvenience. It made our night. Thank you SO MUCH ❤❤❤

Foods was soooo good and came so fast , we love all dishes, reasonable price and staffs are so friendly. Definitely will recommend to all friends and want to go back again and again :)

Not a bad place for lunch, the place is not too busy around 12, and the service is good. All fresh ingredients that I can see being prepared at the back. Ordered the fried noodles, has a very fresh sweet and sour taste. Will return to try other options definitely.

Incredible food and service, great value, really just overall fantastic experience!! Was a very thoughtful surprise to have a rose placed on the table for us as well for Valentine’s Day too.

Our favourite Thai restaurant in Hawthorn/Kew/Camberwell area! Usually order the ginger stirfry with tofu( add cashews) and the massamum curry and it never disappoints. Thanks Fat Boy Thai!

great local find for tasty food, with an amazing selection especially for vegan/vegetarians! very cool modern but comforting atmosphere, quiet but buzzy. service quick and lovely :)

I went there with a friend to have a quick dinner. I loved there coconut prawns and roti and peanut sauce. They were so yum and it is very easy to order and pay as well. Scan order and pay and food will be ready few minutes and they will serve the deliciousness... Love it... Thank you guys

Have always walked past but never tried this joint until now. Decent menu, nice service staff and food was quite good. Food was brought out real quick.

Great Thai food with a lot of unique dishes at very affordable price. They also have partnership with Eatclub, Entertainment Book, etc. so you can utilise those deals to pay a bit less as well.

Duck curry, pork bbq, pad see ew, tom yum, pork ribs are all top notch.

We came today after a Mother’s Day trip to the zoo. We hadn’t planned a dinner so popped into a few places along glenferrie road which were full or offering only a set menu ($75pp no thanks)
There was 5 of us and my 1 year old. The food came out quickly and was super delicious. We actually ordered more starters after eating all the ones we ordered. The food was really delicious and we all left super happy. The staff were so nice and made us (the mums) a free cocktail. I would 100% come back
