I have just completed the 8 week beginner course with John and highly recommend his classes. I really appreciate the follow up emails that gets sent out after each class with a recap + additional YouTube videos to watch (he picks really entertaining yet educational creators). John has a very engaging persona in class and keeps the vibe very upbeat with his jokes and mannerisms! If you're thinking of picking up Ableton and learning more about music production, just do it already :) PS Week 6 is especially phenomenal, try not to miss it.

John’s technical knowledge of the electric bass and music theory is excellent and his teaching style is relaxed and friendly. I commenced as a beginner and John was very patient going over basic concepts multiple times until I understood. He is also happy to accommodate specific songs that I need assistance with. I thoroughly recommend John to anyone interested in improving their bass playing skills!

From being overwhelmed at the thought of Ableton and music production, to feeling confident in my abilities and excited for what the future of this creative path has to offer.

Just finished the 8 week beginners course - absolutely superb.
Very informative, and we covered lots of content. I now have so many handy tips and tricks and shortcuts for creating music on Ableton Live.
The whole experience was great fun

With almost no musical experience and zero intuition when it comes to learning new computer software, and having a neurodivergent brain that finds learning in certain ways very difficult, I was pretty apprehensive about the whole ableton endeavour.

But the way that John structured this course made learning Ableton super simple, tangible and FUN from the get go. Getting to create songs from the very first week and to continue working on music we had created each week, made it really fun and balanced out the learning new stuff component with a lot of creativity. It was actually really amazing hearing how good the tracks that I was able to make sounded already, which gave me a lot of drive to continue learning and made me feel like maybe I am a... Musician? 🤔🥰

John's classes are engaging, practical, relaxed and fun. The concepts and techniques he teaches gives you a basic understanding of the entire process involved in producing a track and he really draws out the inner creator in all of his students regardless of music making experience.

I enjoyed going to class so much that I was bummed when the course ended so I'll definitely be doing an advanced round with Sned in the future. High recommend! 💯👍👍

Couldn’t rate my learning with Sned music any higher! I’d add another star if I could, legit. The structure of learning and delivery of info was most pertinent and relevant as a beginner and also as a more advanced student in classes later on. The learning process was understandable, practical, fun, engaging and super insightful. I wouldn’t have such a comfortable grip on my DAW and general approach to music mixing and composition if not for my valuable time spent with Sned. I saved years and endless hours of zig zagging around on YouTube by getting exactly what I needed when I needed it while learning with Sned. This guy has got the GOODS. He won’t steer you wrong 👌

John is a great double bass teacher, I've learnt an enormous amount in the time I've spent with him. Highly recommended!

If there was ever someone who can guide you quickly and efficiently through the space maze that is Ableton it's Sned..Ive known him for almost 20 years and he has been doing this sort of thing even before it was a thing..I learnt alot from his course and could trust his decades of experience to be legit..Sned is totally a verifiable creative force within music computers and the human betterment endeavour xoxo
