Sushi Bay

Unassuming humble Japanese sushi train restaurant with excellent service and an occasional experiment of a little bit of fusion in the food. Outstanding items include purple rice sushi, Vietnamese inspired vegetable roll and avocado salmon sushi. Very capable chef cutting and rolling sushi right besides you in an open bar counter ensures freshness in your food all the time.

I’ve read some of the reviews on here and am quite shocked at the bad ones. My partner and I come here often for little lunch or dinner dates. I’ve always found the service great and the unison hello from the chefs as you walk in super special! The food is always great and fresh tasting, I like the fact that you can get up and grab drinks when you want. As soon as the staff realise your done they come over quickly, tally your plates and is prompt with payment too.
I definitely recommend going here without all the negative nonsense people have written about this place, it’s an amazing sushi place.

Sashimi and the rest prepared before your very eyes! Where to begin? The 2 points that are highly recommend is go on a Saturday, you won't be disappointed and try the salmon cheese. Yes it sounds odd but it is oddly good. Hospitality and service alone deserves 5 stars, note during the week is just as good. In a rush? Then why not take away. The only order that's prepared away from sight are the delicious warm noodles. Enjoy!

Yummy sushi, the sashimi is also very fresh. Good range and selection. If it's quiet and not much on the train, the chefs will make your order.

Love it! Haven't had bad sushi from here over all the times I've been there since its opening. If Bar Zushi wasn't already closed, it would have went under because of Sushi Bay. This is my Friday night dinner go-to location

Sandy runs a tight ship. Makes sure everyone does their covid check in and keeps groups 1.5m apart. Food is good and chefs are eager to make items not available on the train when requested. I had a good dinner here! Arigato!!

Another enjoyable meal with the family this evening. It is sometimes nerve racking spying a treat you really want to try on the other side of room, slowly creeping towards you on the sushi conveyor, it only needs to pass 20 or so people to get to you. Will it make it this time.

I love this place. However it has been closed for many weeks. I havent seen it open sincr. Which is sad as this was my go to sushi place. Food was always fresh, people were always friendly. Im surprised this place is closed.

I hang out for this sushi on my days off! I only ever eat salmon with cream cheese small rolls so the only negative thing is when I get there too late and theyve stopped putting them out before closing!

My daughter and I decided to have lunch at Sushi Bay, my daughter loves sushi and she wasn't disappointed, we're glad we made the choice.

Best Sushi Place in the NT. Always Fresh! Fanstastic taste and combination! Yummy noodles and takoyaki.
