HealthSmart Pharmacy Victoria Parade

Booked an appointment for my vaccination booster. Service was quick and personal. Staff were helpful and ensured that I was feeling well throughout the wait. Pharmacy is pretty small though so there might not be much space to sit while waiting.

After calling multiple chemists in the Melbourne CBD seeking my prescribed chronic pain medication without success, I contacted the HealthSmart Pharmacy at Victoria Parade in the hope they might be able to assist. Their representative I spoke with was very apologetic when confirming they also had no stock but advised I could email them my digital prescription & that they would order my medication to be available for collection the next morning. As it was already 2pm in the afternoon I half expected that the medication wouldn’t be ready for the better part of 48hrs or perhaps the next afternoon at the earliest but true to their word I received a message from them the following morning confirming my medication had been dispensed & was ready for collection. With very little effort the HealthSmart team quickly turned a difficult & frustrating search for me into an easy, courteous experience, & their in-store customer service was also just as warm & polite. Keep up the good work guys!

Excellent so far. I used to regularly order in advance a very expensive monthly medication from another pharmacy (at the Epworth) where I almost always needed to wait for a day or two for the order to come through, and then pick up once ready.
I came across Health Smart Pharmacy by chance, discovered the required medication in stock and have been coming back ever since.
For the past 3 years I’ve kept the prescription on their file and found the medication in stock every time.
After having a Covid 19 booster vaccination here, I mentioned in passing that I was about to go overseas. The duty pharmacist kindly printed out a hardcopy of the vaccination history for my travels, which was very thoughtful.
From my experience Health Smart is a great pharmacy, their staff are well organised, courteous and knowledgeable.

I visited the pharmacy on the morning of 27-10-17 and was in a state of distress. The pharmacist showed me high levels of both compassion and kindness, and I am very grateful for his assistance.

Friendly and helpful phone staff

This is not a compounding pharmacy! But, the service is polite yet unless your a worker they think everyone is shop lifting, and watch your every move. Makes you feel uneasy. When you doing nothing wrong!!

Dont go here for vaccination - you book an appointment, but the chemist told me that priority is given to people wanting prescriptions. Your booking means nothing - you will wait until all those who arrived after you have been attended to.

I called up to ensure they could prepare my prescription and emailed it to them and I left my work and walked 45 minutes in to collect it and was then told it would take days to prepare. What a waste of time. Also don’t have any ventolin!
