The CODE pizza bar

May 2024: This is EXCEPTIONAL pizza. The base was so crispy and delicious and the toppings so fresh. They even have their chilli oil in real olive oil, not some cheap seed oil. Wonderful.

Ordered the Margherita DOP, Sorrento pasta and tiramisu. The pizza was not cooked using woodfire so it didn't have the charred aroma but it was still very tasty with a lot of flavour from the tomato sauce, basil, olive oil and additional herb seasoning. There was a decent amount of buffalo cheese evenly spread, pizza base was nicely toasted and the crust was also thin and crispy. Sorrento pasta was baked fresh out of the oven, piping hot with plenty of cheese which was a mix of shredded mozzarella added for the satisfying cheese stretch and the drunken buffalo cheese for a more stronger cheese flavour. The napoli sauce was savoury and tasty with the cheese and had a bit of tanginess, pasta was al dente which was good. As for the tiramisu, coffee flavour was strong enough and the sponge was soft but still holds it's form with some texture, mascarpone was creamy and had a good amount of sweetness from the cocoa powder. Overall a tasty and satisfying meal.

Easily the best pizza I've had in the area...and some of the best, anywhere. It was a quiet night, but no drop in service or quality. LOVED the Patatina and Code1 pizzas...

We dined in - the pizzas are exceptionally good and traditional in keeping things simple and authentic.

The modest range of Italian wines reasonably priced and a good match.

Team are friendly and service prompt.

Italian pop music might be too much for some, but they’re certainly owning a theme.

DELICIOUS. I was so pleased with this pizza. The portions are great and the taste is out of this world. I bought a simple margherita and the sauce on it is tangy, salty, and fresh! The cheese is also very fresh and tempers the intensity of the other flavours. I also bought a salad with was decent and an Italian cola and it tastes like a cola gummie candy! I like that flavour, but it might not be for everyone. Service was quick and amenable. Would recommend for a date or family night.

The pizza was magnificent. Authentic Italian rustica pizza. You can tell they use quality ingredients. Get down here and try for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Definitely try this place. Just off the main strip but worth the trip. Pizzas are all delicious especially the calzone. Staff are all super friendly. Desert is also worth a look. Will be back soon.

The CODE pizza bar provides North Italian style dishes including different entrées, pastas and pizzas. The staff here are very friendly and down to earth and the pizzas they make come out so fast yet full of flavours. Highly recommended.

I went there last night with few Italian friends. The food was very good and the atmosphere was amazing. We all felt we were back in our local place in Italy. What a great night. I highly recommend this place!!!

WOWWW been searching for the best wood fire pizza and this is it! It’s perfect in every way, from the base to the toppings. The dough is perfect thickness, the toppings are full and the ingredients are quality fresh stuff!! It’s 10/10….thank you for opening your shop, even my hubby who doesn’t prefer wood fire pizza, said “IT’S SOO GOOOD!!”

The best Calzone I had. The pizza is authentic Italian. The ingredients are fresh and high quality very friendly service. Price is very reasonable for the high quality food.

Alessio was friendly on the phone and in person and the pizzas were delicious - a number of my colleagues said it was definitely the best pizza we have ordered in the area. Above and beyond expectations. Couldn't recommend more!
