The place looks Excellent! It was empty though. The setup is there. However, there may be many confounding reasons for its emptiness. The oven was not working, so there is no pizzas made for any door to door services. Tuesday 6:30pm is probably not their busiest time.

There were two staff who were serving. Both smiling. The South American looking waiter provided me with options for the drink. The waitress was cautious in getting the desert on my plate.

I tried their profiterole and drank Sanpellegrino. Profiterole tasted different to the Greek ones.
Overall, I liked it.

I didn’t research this place, I so happen to be eating near by, and popped in just because it was convenient, and you know what they say, when you aren’t looking, that’s when you find...an amazing, creamy vanilla in Melbourne, it might just be my favourite. I also tried their Oreo, which was also very flavourful, I really love this place. The cakes and sweets are also delicious, at around the $6 price point for slices. Get in quick, cos they don’t restock the cakes everyday.

This is my new go-to place for breakfast when I'm in the area. The staff are lovely, the food is tasty and the prices are very modest. The café has a relaxed feel to it and sitting outside has the added comfort of plenty of ventilation, meaning you're not likely to bring home any nasty surprises.

Childhood favourite has undergone many changes, FOR THE BETTER!! so well designed, classy, and amazing amazing cakes.

2019 update/: the PIZZA game is next level

Tiramisu slice is very nice. Coconut & Hazelnut and Coffee gelato was very good. Staff are friendly. Lovely outdoor sitting.

Stop for coffee and cake and topped it of with gelato absolutely delicious not over priced great service they also pizza and other food 5 stars for deliciousness and price will definitely be returning.

Ice creams are in different tastes and so delicious, low fat, and you can taste nuts in them :) sweets are great as well.

The deserts on offer are first class. Great selection and coffee was great. Not to expensive, had 2 cakes and 2 coffees for 20 bucks. Staff and store was great. Seating outside was good.

Gelobar is a great place to get Artisan Gelato, made by Gelobar in house, as well as some select Italian cakes. Their coffee is great, it does NOT have bitter aftertaste so it means they haven't burnt the beans whilst roasting or the water isn't too hot when they make the coffee. They also have other dishes and pizza which is great. All in all its a great place to go for dinner or a snack, or just a plain coffee. The atmosphere is nice, its not too crowded during the evening so there is always a seat available, most of the time. I highly recommend, its a great place to relax and have a nice little snack.

(The old review) This has got to be the best icecream place in Melbourne. A wide range of classic Italian flavours for a summer (or anytime) treat. The pastry and cake items and coffee are also top shelf.

This is a regular, favourite haunt of mine. The coffees are first rate, the gelatos are to die for (amazing on a hot day!!), and the staff are friendly & eager. There is a vibe about the place. It gets noisy, and the tables/chairs are fairly basic, but it's all part of the atmosphere, and I love it.

Beat gelati I've ever tried, every time I'm in Melbourne I make sure to visit just for a cup of it! The sour cherry flavour is amazing, smooth and full of flavour. Lots of gorgeous looking cakes and desserts on offer.

A classic place to stop and enjoy the lygon st vibe. Nestled in the bars and restaurants this is the perfect anytime desert spot. With great coffee and a large cake selection there is something for everyone. My recommendation is to get a tray of biscuits to go and pay by the weight to enjoy the next day too.

Amazing place, super welcoming and delicious food

We had my daughter's 16th Birthday Party at Gelobar, the customer service at this restaurant was exceptional, the decor was perfect and the food was delicious. Nico the function manager tailored the menu to suit our guests and made our function run smoothly.

Chocolate icecream so very tasty - not too sweet with perfectly balanced cacao bitterness closely followed by a beautigul rich nutty pistachio. Fav lil dessert spot with many delicious eateries nearby

Delicious Italian sweets and gelati, along with coffee, very friendly and helpful staff.

They have a huge range of Italian sweets, their Cannoli is delicous! I haven't had any of their meals so can't comment on that, but their sweets are reason enough to come here.

One of my favorite places where I use to go when I need to satisfy my needs of cakes and ice cream. Easy to get there by tram using the line 1 or 8. The restaurant is not bad and the pizza pretty good as well.

Best gelato/ice-cream I've had for a long time. Service was good, and accommodated my desire to use my own sustainable containers when getting more ice-cream to take home!
