The Cellar by Dan Murphy's - Prahran

Been trying to get here for a while. Beautiful cellar. Very well done. Impressive place. Worth a visit just for a look. Spectacular range of wine and spirits. There were no tastings going on when I was there or I was too distracted by the range and the ambiance to find them. Regular Dan Murphys across the road but not the same range. Shame they didn't have more to buy/sample/taste there. Lots of stuff I would happily pay to sample.

Sean is an absolute master at the craft. Helped me choose some amazing options for a private function.

This is Dan Murphy’s ‘cellar’ and it’s a lovely big wine store with a lot of great fine wines and whiskies, and basically everything else too. It has some of Dan Murphy’s best wines.

Great knowledge and recommendations from the team there and just an amazing store. Wish they could serve by the glass and i wouldnt leave.

The range of quality wines is amazing and the atmosphere and decor is just brilliant. Staff were friendly and helpful. A must visit for true wine buffs.

Good selection of alcohol, next door to Oaks pub ( which is owned by Woolworths/ Monty’s) and has a tramline right outside.

Very impressed with the great selection, anyone interested in wine or Whiskey has got to visit this place.

I picked up a large online order - this store often seems to have more stock than others so we can always get what we want. There is no drive-through or specific parking which is frustrating, however once I found a park the staff were great. Sonia was very helpful with confirming pick up details, and Lachlan was amazing with bringing trolleys out to the car and helping me load everything. He was super friendly and polite, and I would ask for him again if I needed assistance.

Dropped into this place by accident but it turned into a very pleasant surprise! Was just expecting to find uber expensive bottles of liquor but Sean was so friendly and knowledgeable we couldn’t help leaving with a bottle of gin. Best Dan’s in Aus

Super amazing selection of wines. Lots of boutique wines here as well. Really great staff. Tell them what you are after and they will guide you and even let you have a taste sometimes! World class cellar.
I wish they had a bigger selection of Japanese whiskies but understand many are hard to come by.

Will return. Really nice looking shop too.

The set up if this store is very different from a typical Dan Murphys. They carry more fine wines, back vintages, as well as international wines. The downstairs cellar is impressive. The staff also are passionate about their wine. They have a good wine tasting menu as well. Good place to come when looking for a special bottle.

The staff are always great at the Dan Murphy’s Cellar. Matteo and Brendan both spent considerable time with me picking some great wine to add to my cellar to celebrate the special occasions in years to come as well as helping me put together a great wine list for my wedding using some great local labels. The store is set out really well and it’s worth a visit even just to check out the original cellar including a vertical collection of Grange!

I love this shop on the middle of Chapel St. in Prahran. It has something for everyone with a great assortment of wines, beers and spirits. It's a good sized store with awesome staff and a front and back entrance.

This an amazing place for liquire. I don't have any idea when I first came to Australia about the variety of it. When I enter into this familiarize with variety of options. The staffs are very good and friendly. Lots of beer options available from international to locate oz brand. I tried lots of them. I would highly recommend this for liquire shop for purchase. This give amazing offers during festive seasons and special time like Father's day.

A really lovely, interesting store! A far more selective range, beautifully presented. Loved the pockets of information around the place and the reading area downstairs. Would be very interested in taking part in a tasting here.
