Hands down, one of the best second hand bookshops I've been to. This place is an absolute gem! I felt like I walked into in the stores seen only in movies with floor to ceiling books with tight turns leading to more nooks and walls of books, loved it! So, so many books to browse and at wonderfully affordable prices, with the loveliest of staff members!

I chanced upon the store and overheard the most wonderful conversation about their enjoyment of Russian writers. When the customer left, I asked the staff member to kindly recommend some of the authors she spoke about - the best stories had just been sold but she recommended Ivan Turgenev - On the Eve and Alexander Pushkin - The Captain's Daughter, I'm looking forward to reading them. It was a bonus to the store had Jordan Peterson 12 Rules for Life and the 48 Laws of Power that happened to be stored behind the counter - I was meant to find it 😊

Very cosy atmosphere. With a rather eclectic range of second hand books.

You'll have to shuffle your way through this labyrinth of well loved books, sometimes backtracking or stepping into a nook off to the side to let other customers pass.

Do be aware that some books are quite high up, so you might have to ask the (very friendly) staff to help you out.

Easily the best secondhand bookshop in Melbourne. The couple that own it are so delightful, and have a real passion for what they do. If you’re lucky you’ll spot their cat sunbaking in the front window from time to time too.

Absolute best 2nd hand book store. My favourite. Incredible range, affordable (even cheap) and great owner who's more than happy to help.

Easily one of the best bookstores ever. The owners are delightful, extremely well read and enthusiastic about sharing their love of literature. The store is a treasure trove. All kinds of books on all kinds of subjects. Reasonably priced too, so you can afford to gather a small (or not so small) pile of gems to take home. Even if you don't find something to take home, just going in to browse and chat is an enjoyable experience. I love this store.

Cute little shop with such a nice collection of old books, I could spend hours browsing every nook and cranny, got a couple poetry books and love how they have a box of free bookmarks made up of stuff they find in books so took a couple of those too, also loved the smell in there haha

An Alladin's cave, with a great selection of used books covering most genres and subjects crammed into a tight maze of bookshelves. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff make for a pleasant experience, and I never walk away empty handed. Go now!

Great bookshop, discovered by chance. Good selection and very friendly service. I can't wait until they're open again - there was too many books to buy in one session!

One of my absolute favourite book shops! It has every single genre and subject that you can find! The staff are absolutely incredible and give amazing recommendations.
