Stylish hidden cocktail and Asian fusion bar.

My partner and I visited this place on a Saturday evening and relished a beautiful Asian fusion tapas-style dinner with amazing cocktails.

All dishes tasted fantastic, but the pork & chive and the prawn & ginger dumplings were amongst our favorites. The perfectly grilled crying tiger beef and the Szechuan prawn tails were the highlights of our meal.

We rounded off our dinner with tasty cocktails, including the Ukrainian mule and the Vodka Martini.

We had a delightful evening here. The place is cleverly designed and the decor is quirky and interesting. We each had a delicious cocktail and enjoyed the dumplings. Isaac took exceptional care of us, he was unhappy with the duck dish given it was smaller than the usual size, so gave us extra dumplings to compensate. Really recommend you check out this gem.

Went with two friends and shared their set tapas menu. We had plenty to eat and enjoyed it all. Cocktails looked amazing. Imaginative decor but some may find stairs inconvenient. Intimate dining spaces make conversations enjoyable.

Absolutely fantastic Friday afternoon sitting at VL. The bartender was phenomenal and the cocktails she made were on point. The food was delicious (highlight was the crying tiger beef) and the atmosphere was very chill with cool tunes playing

Atmosphere - Quirky, different, elegant with the green an gold 20’s like theme.
I like that u can have your own private setting off in 1 of the different spaces or be seated in a room with many.

Highly recommended! We were just in Bendigo for the night and needed a place to grab a bite. Located in central CBD, the 4 course tasting dish with Crying Beef was tremendous and great value. 🥳 Plus the cocktails were quite tasty! 🍸

My first visit and i will be going back.the dood was amazing what skill the chef has to come up with such amazing flavours. Advertising this restaurant would bring many customers as it is tucked away not noticeable. 10 stars to the chef

The Victoria Lane Speakeasy is one of those hidden gems in Bendigo. Once you walk through those gates, under the fairy lights, towards the venue’s entrance, you know it’s going to be a good night out. The interior is bedecked in memorabilia that take you to the jazz era and the music which plays makes one want to step up and do the Charleston. As an avid dancer, it’s hard to resist the temptation offered by the lively music. The cocktails I tried included the Mary Pickford, which was delicious. The cheese platter hit the spot and the Crying Tiger beef was melt in the mouth good. Beautifully seasoned and cooked, it was a stand out dish. It all made for a wonderful night out and is certainly worth a trip back!

Beautiful romantic atmosphere, Great food and outside balcony. A sweet or two would be a good option to round off a great night.

Need a SIXTH star. Would travel from Melbourne and pay for accommodation just to have another night here! Midnight close broke my heart! I saw the Gin. Had money to spend! ;)
