Fresh mix of lettuce, beans, corn, tomato, and cheese for $10.50. This is surprising the highlight of the night coz i didnt expect having such a refreshing side that balances out the meal! 💦

Lunch @FATFriedAndTasty for some fried chicken, 2 pieces please and fries with that. It took a bit of time and the staff let me know the wait would be a little longer than usual which I was OK with. When my meal did come out I was surprised that they gave an extra piece for the inconvenience which was a nice touch! The chips are excellent, crispy, crunchy, soft on the inside, perfectly seasoned with some spiced mix, crispy till the end.

As for the chicken I got one original and one hot. The original is delicious, very well cooked chicken, lovely seasoning, crispy skin, all that you want in fried chicken. The hot is hot and leaves one's lips zinging. This was a lot hotter than I thought but tasty nonetheless. I like the pickle which provides a touch of freshness and acidity. Tasty meal that hit the spot.

A very cool hip-hop institution located fittingly in Brunswick East. The space is dominated by concrete and funny quotes. The food tastes like it’s made with love. There’s nothing to really critique here, if you’re craving that big FAT feed and burgers with beer then don’t hesitate to come here!

This place has amazing service, everyone is so attentive and kind, absolutely going above and beyond. The poutine was super yum, hit all the cravings just right. And the chicken was a little bit dry as breast meat usually is but got good amount of flavouring on it. The mac and cheese needed a bit more salt but other than that was creamy and yum. Milk shake was delish.

If you're craving crispy, flavorful fried chicken, look no further than F.A.T! From the first bite, I was hooked. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. The portions are generous, staff is friendly, and the ambiance is inviting. Outstanding chicken joint!

You are greeted by wonderful staff, very chill atmosphere with good music playing in the background.

I ordered the skinny burger, amazing presentation all topping layered evenly. The burger was very filling.

Burgers on the menu can be ordered ordered as wrap as well there is also soy based mock chicken available

Found this place on a whim and so glad we did!! The best waffles I've had in a really long time. The soft buttermilk waffles are spot on perfection (who ever wants hard waffles you're crazy) and the well seasoned chicken tops it off. The vibe was exactly as expected, great music and atmosphere. I'll be back when I'm down in Melbourne again, that's for sure!

F.A.T has been on my list for a long time and finally got around to grabbing myself a bucket last night and safe to say, it lived up to all expectations.

Ordered the hot chicken bucket with the fries, potato salad & Mac n cheese. The coating on the chicken was perfect - good amount of heat and the potato salad was amazing. Going here over KFC any day of the week 🙌🏾🤤

The food there is absolutely amazing, been going there every time after my part time job I always come here for their hot hot burger and delicious milkshakes. Really friendly staff and clean store

A hip hop and urban themed fried chicken joint in Carlton. I had the chicken in 3 different flavours which were all cooked nicely. The pickles and sauce were good condiments. The staff were also very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommended for fried chicken fans!

Such a cool venue. Awesome comfort food and so filling. Highly recommended!!!! Give them a shot you won’t be disappointed.

The food here is really good! The chicken is always freshly cooked and so are the chips.
Beer on tap and I have been told the milkshakes are great, but have never had one myself.
I prefer the hot chicken over the original, but it is hot! Be warned.
Service is friendly and plenty of room to dine in.
Music is always a good mix too.

My sister and her friends recommended Fried and Tasty for their chicken burgers and fries. The chicken burger was juicy, delicious and cooked perfectly, I took my time finishing the burger because I didn't want the experience to end. The seasoning on the chips was like light and tangy chips, I absolutely loved the seasoning. (NOTE: Based on the reply from F.A.T. the issue with the chips was due to the shortage. I have updated my review)

Kind and friendly staff! Got the bucket pack with original chicken, chips, coleslaw and sauces. Coleslaw was quite sweet and sauces a bit bland but still nice overall. Tenders were good too

I’m no foodie but ugh I absolutely froth this place. i’ve ordered the loaded fries w/ popcorn chicken, jalapeños and bbq mayo an embarrassingly large amount of times. I’ve only ever ordered on uber eats and it’s so damn good, sometimes coming slightly cold if the uber driver makes a few stops along the way, but still microwaveable and the chips dont get that gross cold reheated flavour. If you’re trying to start a diet do not come here.

Great place food is awesome and good portions. Owner was super helpful and new what ingredients are used in his food. Vegetarian options including soy based mock chicken. Sweet options. Salads. Sides and milk shakes great place. Will be coming back when I get a chance but worth the trip.

You won't get a tastier chicken anywhere else in Melbourne but here! This place has amazing food! The burgers are So filling and tasty as well! I visit this restaurant every once in 2 weeks! Never changes! The staff are super friendly wouldn't ask for much more.

Stopped for a snack. Fried chicken. They had mac and cheese for sides. Perfect. Selection of hot sauces - this is what I love most about American food establishments. Service was quick, the guys were patient and polite. Whole placed was themed all hip hop and black rap with tupac wall decals and all.
