Darebin Parklands Dog Off Leash Area

Perfect spot for an off-leash adventure. Kids also had fun on the rocks crossing the creek and then a quick rest on the grass area before walking back.

Appreciated seeing lots of doggy bins and bags supplied all around the park so everything seemed really clean.

Tip: Bring a spare pair of socks for the kids and even some snacks. We ended up enjoying over 2hrs here.

What a great find, once you find it. Amazing space for all kinds of dog off leash activities. Ball throwing grass land, a variety of trees areas and the river meandering through this doggie Disneyland. Only minor issue is it isn’t obvious where it is when you arrive at the parkland entrance. (Head down the hill)

Awesome off leash dog area, can be a little muddy in winter. There’s a large open space where dogs can have a good run and play and there’s a creek flowing around the border of the park which is shallow enough for a swim. I highly recommend this place definitely one of the best off leash dog parks in Melbourne.

Huge off leash dog area and great for the dogs in winter when the ground is a little wet and muddy, which they love! Lots of open space for the dogs to distance themselves or socialise within.

We loved it there.

Perfect dog park, never come across a poorly behaved dog in using this space over the last 30 years. Great walks, and water for dogs that love to get wet and those who just want a drink!

I always love cycling and picnicking in the parklands. Great spot for a stroll down to the Farmers Market Nearby and well connected to the North and South. Parking can be a bit tight during busy times, so ride your bike if possible.

Excellent spot for dogs to swim. Area is not fully enclosed so keep an eye on your dog.

Great enclosed area for dogs off lead. Usually well maintained with short grass. Ok when damp but can get muddy in really wet weather.
