Dolomiti Electric Bikes

Great choice if you are looking for an ebike. Good range of quality bikes at different price points. Got a lot of helpful advice and took about 4 models out for test rides before making a choice. The area has lots of hills too, so great for working out what level of assist you are after.

We bought a bike from John a few years back and now coming back for servicing. it's a non-pushy, honest shop with a sustainable philosophy. They only sell bikes that use Bosh electrics because of their quality and also Bosh -local servicing center. The center allows them to fix the electrical issues, which means we should be able to keep the bikes for as long as possible. The battery can be replaced and recycled, which is a lot more sustainable than other Chinese e-bikes.

My electric bike wasn’t working. Dolomiti solved the problem gave me an accurate quote, sourced the necessary parts and had my bike serviced and ready to pick up within 2 days. My bike looks and feels new again. I’m very grateful to Dolomiti and very happy with the service they provide to their customers.

I bought my electric bike a year ago. I could try the bike for free, spread the payments over a few months.
The bikes sold there are sturdy, durable and the spare parts can be found in Australia.
You can also maintain your bike there.

These guys are great, the customer service!! Came running out of the store to help me unload my ebike out of the car. Had the spare part for my older 7 year old ebike which is not so easy to get anymore and at fair price, fitted it for me, great to chat to and helped me load my heavy bike back into the car. Best!

Great service and very helpful staff. Walked in after having a flat tyre on a nearby trail and they were able to fit a new tube within 30 minutes at very reasonable price. The technician was very helpful and pointed out another fault on the bike which he quickly adjusted before we left the store.

After lots of shopping around and investigation I purchased a Focus Aventura 2 E Bike in March 2020 from Dolomiti Electric Bikes. I was very impressed with John - he let me come in and test drive several different bikes on at least two occasions. He was always in store and full of good advice. No hard sell. I absolutely love my new bike. Recently I had a minor issue with the battery, and John very kindly delivered a replacement battery to my home after hours. Now that's what I call typical old fashioned customer service that only a great small business can provide. So I decided to take the time to do this review. Thanks John!

Legends! Purchased a not cheap awesome electric bike from here a few years ago (it's an incredible machine I love it), it stopped working, so I brought it in today - they pulled the guts out, fixed the worn part, showed me how to repair myself if I get caught short when I'm out, and only charged $20 bucks!!! Heroes!!! And for that price I got some great attention from the lovely Luna thrown in too (she's a gorgeous Golden retriever)! What a place!

Dolimiti has wonderful customer service. They are knowledgeable, patient, accommodating and will ensure they find the right bike to fit your needs, not trying to fit you into one of their items in stock. They have something in their range to suit just about any situation, from commuting and touring to road and mountain biking. The range is also ever-changing so its definitely worth popping in for a look.
After sales support is also fantastic. We own two of the ebikes from Dolimiti and we continue to get them serviced there because the work is of a very high standard, there is no fuss and they communicate very well to ensure you're happy with the work.
I highly recommend Dolimiti if you're considering purchasing an ebike.

We were complete novices on our first visit & John took the time to school us in the nicest possible way. Looked around & did the research and went back certain that not only does Dolomiti have the best quality bikes in town but that their customer support is above and beyond. I purchased my second electric bike from Dolomiti last week. The first was a Kalkhoff in Nov 2020 and now a GoCycle GX to enjoy during lockdown - both high quality and great e-bikes with very good battery power compared to other e-bikes on the market. I did my research / due diligence on retailers before finding Dolomiti. John Zanol is easy to deal with, unassuming, not pushy to sell you a bike and provides excellent advice to assist making a decision. The aftersales is excellent and John is very accessible to assist when required.

Outstanding service, few retail businesses work this hard to make sure you are 100% happy. You are looked after as an owner and not just a customer with equal attentiveness. An experience that sets that standard for the whole industry and deserves worthy praise. I only wish more was done to knit together a community of e-bikers which is still in its infancy in Melbourne.

I cannot speak highly enough of the level of customer service. Electric bikes are an expensive investment and it is so important to have piece of mind. If you are looking for an ebike, go and pay these guys a visit. Probably the only shop where you could be guaranteed to NOT suffer from buyer's remorse!

Great range of bikes, really well presented, was a really good shopping experience. Our new bikes are fantastic we are riding more, getting fitter and enjoy going up hills now. Love it.

Best place to go located centrally in Melbourne to buy an ebike as they specialise in them and only stock qulaity bikes at a competitive price. Also you have that peace of mind that bike will be serviced and maintained professionally. Highly recommend!!
