Mr Wei-Han Tay

After having surgery (6 months ago) and continued post-care follow up, Dr Tay is highly recommended; a brilliant orthopaedic surgeon. His ‘bedside manner’ in how he takes care of his patients and engages with them is exceptional and unlike anything I’ve previously experienced (I’ve had various surgeons historically for various health issues). Dr Tay is highly responsive to any queries and concerns and makes you feel at ease through the whole process - thank you again Dr Tay!

3 months ago I had a completely unexpected accident while on a walk with my toddler, breaking my ankle in 3 places and dislocating it...! The ensuing 24 hours were traumatic; being admitted to the ED department and having my ankle temporarily reset in a cast.

I will be forever grateful that the resident registrar recommended Dr Tay to me! His phone call, late that evening, was the only piece of calm in a truly traumatic day. He explained my options to me carefully, calmly and clearly. He reassured me and I finally felt like someone professional knew what my road to recovery would look like! What an incredible relief..

He operated on my ankle and it was successful. Dr Tay and his team were truly professional and skilled. Today I am walking and I always be grateful to Dr Tay for all his help in this very difficult journey. I recommend him as an excellent orthopaedic surgeon unreservedly.

Dr Tay and his team were absolutely fabulous. Our young son required surgery and we were referred to Dr Tay by our treating physician. He was thorough, efficient and understanding. The fusion of my arthritic painful ankle, following a fracture years ago was a frightening prospect for a woman of a certain age. Wei-Han however, explained everything, monitoured my progress closely and always with warmth and encouragement. A year later, I am walking pain free. so grateful for his surgical skill and kindness.

I found Mr Wei Han Tay to be an excellent surgeon. I liked his careful attention to my ankle injury, detailed explanation of the procedure and that I could connect with him by phone when I had further questions.The operation went well. At 11 weeks since the surgery my ankle feels excellent and there is no pain when I walk.

It’s been about a year and half since I got told I was in for a lot of strife with my heel being exploded into 8 pieces. And dr Tay came to the rescue! After no more then 9 months I had all screws out of my heel due to being fully heeled up. I’m so happy with the results and living life to 95% of a full extent that I used to be. I have minor issues these days which is nothing compared to what I expected. Could not be happier with the service and after service during and after the whole thing. Could not recommend his services enough! Thankyou so much for giving me the most normal life I could after my accident

I dislocated my right shoulder quite badly, tearing the rotator cuff so it did not work properly. For example I could not raise my right arm or take garments off over my head and attempts to use it outside a restricted range were either impossible or painful. Mr Tay repaired said rotator cuff so I now have full functional use of my right arm, with little pain or scarring and merely a warning not to push it too far. Totally happy with the result.

The best foot and ankle surgeon. Very kind, approachable, professional and experienced surgeon. Keep up the good work Mr Tay.
