Located on the eastern side of the freeway, Caboolture Airfield is a classic grass strip aerodrome. Activities such as gliding and flight training take place theire Of particular interest is the war museum with a flying collection of military aircraft including the P-51 Mustang named "Snifter". It's well worth checking out as it's run by volunteers and you get an up close and personal experience.

Offers great gliding experiences for cheap through the club. Who'd have thought you could tow a plane into the sky and land so gracefully.

Great landing destination but it could be better maintained although I love going over highway to land I give it 3.5 stars

The Airfields "Fly Neighbourly Commitment" is not observed or enforced here. Most aircraft just fly circuits round and round over homes located within the Noise Sensitive Area.
