Fantastic family-run restaurant. Delicious food that is beautifully prepared and clearly of the highest quality ingredients. The service is quick, very friendly and happily accommodate changes to meals, like swapping out certain items in a bento box. This was second time - and first at this new location - and we’ll definitely be back again.

Haven't tried much with these guys, but I would give them 10 stars for their Salmon Rose. Generous portion, creamy, soft, simply delicious

Food is very good. The set menu gives you a good variety of tastes of different areas of Japanese cuisine. All very well done

Very loud but that was other diners fault.

We love this place! The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. We loved coming here when it was still in Mornington and its gotten even better in its new location Mt Eliza. The tatsuta age has improved considerably too! Will definitely be returning and reccomending to my family and friends.

unfortunately, all my life has been a suffering when it comes to food. I had a bad childhood, both my parents died and I was to fend for myself until I was to come to this amazing restaurant that is known as "Sakura Mt Eliza". This integral building, cured my anorexia the moment I stepped in, this place is worth more than any phycologist, gym, podiatrist or bathroom. 10/10, changed my life and I cannot recommend more. I come here every day

Exceptional Japanese meal. There was no dish that wasn't up to par. Beef Tataki was beyond words. Without a doubt the best Japanese restaurant I have been in Mornington Peninsula.

Wide range of entrees, sushi and sashimi available. All presented beautifully and taste as good as it looks.

We have loved the taste & freshness of the food, particularly the sashimi & variety of sushi. The meal has always been served quickly considering varying booking sizes but we’re never disappointed. Hard working proprietors to be admired. An asset to Mornington who are moving to Canadian Bay Rd Mt Eliza in 2023 & will be worth the short trip.👍😘🍷🐰

Authentic Japanese food. It’s great to have a local place with such quality food. We’ve become regulars here and often get takeaway but eating is excellent too. Great value on the Bento Box and we’ve never had any trouble ordering. Staff are super friendly. It’s worth calling ahead and making sure they’re open

What a great little place! My son and I stumbled on this little restaurant while we were in town for a basketball tournament. The food is amazing! The prices are so reasonable. We were so impressed. We even came back the following night! Will definitely visit again if we are in town.

Sakura Sushi was introduced to us by dear friends as a 'cheap and cheerful' place which it certainly is. Good value, the food is great and the people cheerful and ready to help. Would definitely recommend. I believe the take away is also great.

Ordered tonight through Menulog for the first time and had issue getting my order.
SAKURA SUSHI were extremely professional redoing my fried oysters - they didn't have to as it was all Menulog fault.
The food was delicious and worth the wait.
Thanks so much, I'll be back

Delicious food. Eel nigiri. Katsu ramen was very comforting, crispy pork cutlet and creamy lite ramen, yum.
