Excellent service and really good value. The food is nice, the staff are very attentive and the place is very clean. Good for larger groups. We were the first for dinner service on a Saturday and the place filled up very quickly. The banquets are very generous and tasty.

A group of us from out of state wanted Asian food, and we found the Green Bamboo while walking along Keolor Road. Service was great, knowledge and explanation of food was outstanding, and the food was awesome! The price of the food compared to what you get on the plate is fantastic. It was more than enough, filling and very tasty. I ordered the Beef Chilli on a Sizzling Plate, and my colleague ordered the Chef's Special Beef Stir-Fried with Schezuan Sauce, and the other ordered the Chef's Special Half Duck with Plum Sauce. We were all very satisfied customers. We are going back for sure.

I had the best laksa so far, better than chef lagenda which has gone downhill.
My partner had the pork dumpling soup which was aromatic and flavourful. We also shared some delicious homemade prawn rolls. Definitely coming back.
The service was prompt although our meals did not come at the same time, and preceded the entree, but considering the quality of the food, very trivial.
Parking is available both off street nearby and onstreet.
Easily accessible by wheelchair. Child friendly.
Plenty of vegetarian options available.

We have revisited this great eatery twice since the review, and I can honestly say, it just gets better.
The food is actually better here than some more "upmarket" Vietnamese restaurants we have been to. The only big difference is the price. This restaurant is very reasonably priced, very good food, friendly prompt service. The three main things you want from cafes and restaurants.

Lost count how many times we’ve been to Green Bamboo so for us to continuously keep going back it’s got to be good We usually order the same foods (too many to mention lol) Why i 4starred everything is because there’s always room for improvement BUT at this stage i don’t know what they could be
Phuong always tries to come and say hello if she’s not too busy She has a lot of loyal customers and she knows us by name In fact i got to write my name on a wall (where i happen to be sitting at that time) See if you can find it next time you dine in
Last year 2023 Green Bamboo had been opened for 10 years

Delicious Laksa and prawns fried rice. Cooked fresh and lots of prawns in the fried rice. Excellent value.

I love this place, mouth watering food, lot of Asian options, good tea, spicy avocado we can order. I prefer to GO for lunch as it would be less crowded, benevolent staff, big place but would be crowded on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Better book in advance in weekend's.

Friendly staff, good service and the pho and pork spring rolls are always great.

I came here with my family for our special occasion and all foods are so amazing. Host Phuong and all staffs are friendly and helpful. This place is suitable for organizing a party with family and friends. Tbh I love grilled pork vermicelli salad. Must try

We ordered their Pho and tofu dishes which were very delicious. Staff were fantastic and accomodating. Their restaurant is spacious and a good place to host an event. Plenty of seating and even a karaoke machine. Green Bamboo celebrated their 10th anniversary today and gave us a 10% discount which was lovely!

Dinner tonight at Green Bamboo was amazing, the Pho was excellent, the tomato rice was fluffy and extremely tasty paired with the Japanese tofu stew. The staff are polite and friendly. Will be coming back :)

Honestly favorite restaurant in Melbourne! I don’t know why people are complaining about the pricing and food! Both are incredibly exceptional.. great service and love that the restaurant is big and spacious!! Keep up the good work :)

Come here regularly with family and friends. The food is exceptional, from the flavours to the cooking style. Perfect. The staff are always friendly especially the manager, she is lovely. See you again soon.
