The Bridge Bendigo

After a gruelling and exacerbating driving from Sydney, I couldn’t be met with friendlier and more welcoming service. The food can be described in one word - SENSATIONAL. The beer - COLD. Very happy and I’ll be back again when I visit Bendigo in the future

Very friendly service staff. Need to order at the bar before dining. I was surprised at how well presented the meals are for a pub, very tasty and looks great on the plate.

Great food. All meals were superb.

Beautiful pub. Only complaint if it says on the menu one thing and you get something else. It would have been nice to be told why. Carrots and beans were hard as rocks. The Chicken Ballotine was amazing, and the roast potatoes. The other vegetables were horrible. The Sticky Date was very nice, but better with a plain ice cream instead of salted caramel ice cream.

A HUGE shout out to Damian who has looked after our dining experience for the last two nights. My partner Pete stayed in Bendigo a few weeks ago and at that time had an extremely outstanding experience with Damien, as the waiter, then too. The food and wine is/was magnificent, but that doesn’t mean a thing if you have poor service. Thank-you Damian from Mary-Ann & Pete. We will see you next time. FIVE STARS MATE. *****

Just had one the best steaks ever! A half-kilo t bone, cooked to perfection. Shared it with my partner, along with a rather less generous entree serving of calamari. We finished with a Golden Gaytime desert, which is a huge, delicious mess of honeycomb, caramel and icecream. The honeycomb and caramel were quite bitter; i thought that the desert was balanced to perfection, but my dining companions did not agree.

Had dinner here, food great, we had a toddler and they supplied a high chair, also room for a baby pram. Live music was great.

First visit here and highly recommend a visit. Great food they had music playing in background which was a terrific mix. Drinks were cold and staff exceptional gave service. Well done to the owners.

love the amazing food here!! we had the pork belly which taste pretty tender and flavourful, some pieces are a little dry but some are not. taste really good though.
Carbonara Gnocchi taste so good too, my partner had the steak. he said it’s great portion and delicious. love the look of the restaurant, sitting under the sun are so relaxing.

Stopped by here recently and had Garlic Bread, the Lamb Cutlets and the Seafood Platter. All the dishes were delicious and the team even brought the Garlic Bread out early as a large table had ordered their mains just before us. That pretty much sums up the staff here - really friendly and super helpful. The price for the Seafood Platter was a little on the high side for the size of the meal but the quality of food and service make up for it.
Keep up the great work - we will most definitely be back!

Great food but only complaint was we had just finished entre and main meal came out.

Beautiful tree canopy shaded eating area with pleasant decor and clean interior. Just wanted a icy cold ginger beer at the time - delicious! Will visit again on my next visit to Bendigo. A favorite destination of mine. A bloody good pub mate!

It was the Wake event after a Chapel service at Mulqueens, Bendigo. We had ample savouries, and snacks and drinks were provided by the family hosts. My only regret was that our group was not able to sit in closer proximity to the other guests. The designated area had a wall between the group.

We had day trip to Bendigo for Easter and decided to have a pub meal on the end of the trip, the bridge pub had live band music going on and decided to give them a go...location is perfect with outdoor tables and live music outside,the staff was so friendly and helpful, food was delicious...the place was full with families, kids friendly....highly recommended

Went for lunch on a Friday, one of the best places I have been to for a meal. Outstanding service, great food, and an amazing outdoor area. Next time I'm in Bendigo, i will be going back there without a doubt.

We had lunch here last week and as always the food was excellent! We’ve eaten here on many occasions and it has never disappointed. The prices are great and the staff are always friendly and unpretentious with both being a big tick for us. We ordered the seafood platter and the duck pancakes and both were cooked to perfection! Keep up the great work guys will be back again!!

Family attended at a very busy time. Meal arrived promptly delicious meals for three of us. Great service and reasonably priced. Despite Staff shortage service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommended. Thanks to the staff who were havinga very busy day
