Fantastic evening in a very beautiful old building in Bendigo. Firstly, thank you to all the amazingly friendly staff, you guys were amazing. The food was superb, we’ve travelled the world, and this little gem is just simply, properly amazing. Thank you guys for a beautiful evening, amazing food and service that was beyond anything 🙏. (Side note: put the juicer machine out back, the noise ricochets around the restaurant). Thank you again, see you soon ❤ P.S. get the satay chicken skewers 🤤🤤🤤

Stunning venue. Excellent quality food. Flavours were a fresh experience from my previous experiences of Thai food. The Boa buns had wonderfully cooked pork. The Peking duck pancakes had lovely Thai flavours and the duck had a good crispy taste. Two mains were ordered and serving sizes were good. Both mains had great chilli heat that made the tongue tingle nicely. We didnt find the dishes too hot but some might. When we arrived there weren't too many patrons but the crowd size slowly grew. Maybe ok for walk ins without reservation early in the week (like us), maybe book for later in the week. Prices were good. Quality great. Staff great. A happy dining experience.

Our trip away in Bendigo has come to an end on our second last dinner meal and it was time to try something different. Quick look in Google reviews and Bunja Thai looked good. Once we entered, we were hoping that the food tasted and looked as good as the interior of this beautiful building. Our food was delicious, service was good. I had the yellow curry with chicken, and the Mrs had the red curry with beef.

Great location in the city. Amazing food and interior inside. Fantastic service and all staff are super friendly. Highly recommend when you are in Bendigo.

What an amazing Thai place!

This little gem is hidden inside an old bank (once you are inside, you can see one of the doorway still got the old bank vault sign there!). The interior retains that old building with tasteful Thai decorations.

Food and drinks are exceptional here. Ordered the bartender special - Coconut Dream - it serves in a young coconut! Very tasty, really have this tropical feel to it. The Singapore sling is totally delicious! It is much needed on a rather warm day.

We have ordered the Potato Noodle Prawns and Fresh Peking Duck Rolls. The duck roll is excellent, with the duck and the salad in the pancake wrap, topped with sweet chilli sauce. The Potato Noodle Prawns are so crunchy on the outside and cooked just right in the inside.

With main, we had the massaman curry with chicken and fish in banana leaf. The curry is mild, sweet and creamy. It has pineapple and peanuts for that little crunch. Now that fish in banana leaf, that cooked just right. Fish was so soft and silky with the chili sauce on top, making it such a remarkable dish.

Overall, this is a place worthy of traveling to Bendigo!

Their lunch special is second to none! Delicious, rotating menu at a fantastic price - quality has not dropped over the past 12 years! Staff are very lovely and the building itself, while a bit old and tired, is still as beautiful as ever.
