NQR Fountain Gate

Some pretty strange products sold here, but at much more affordable prices. Some products were past the use by date but you'd be silly for not checking the dates here before buying.

The staff were friendly to all customers in the checkout queue and I'd urge people to start their grocery shopping here before moving onto another retailer who won't offer a competitive price.

Amazing range of products in this huge supermarket. Went to stock up on a family favourite cereal that was being discontinued by the majors. Not sure why the majors would discontinue such a popular item.
Staff were incredibly organised, knew where products were located and quickly helped me get what I needed to collect before heading to work. The early opening hours from 830am was great. They even help to load the items into my car if you're parked near the entrance and it isn't busy.
Great friendly service. I phoned ahead to ensure they had the items, as I did need large quantities of the cereal.

Note: Googlemaps doesn't direct you correctly. The location of this supermarket is next to the Salvo's (Salvation Army) and the nearest landmark is SuperCheap Auto at Fountain Gate Shopping Center. It is located in a slightly obscure location, but keep driving to what looks like the truck loafing bays and you will find the NQR supermarket.

You will find alot of different items here, from pantry, kitchen, fridge, freezer. All great prices.

Great prices and range of products.

Been aiming to get to this store for a while as I don't mind NQR but my nearest stores are Chelsea & Frankston. Decent size store and plenty of stuff in stock including seasonal stuff which is good. Def be back 👍

Having driven past here many times I finally decided to drop in and check the place out.

This location is one of the bigger stores which means you can find a greater range and supply of items.

If you are on a budget and want to save money then it's well worth the time to keep an eye on the specials and come in weekly.

You can find brand name produce for up to 80% off at times. It's always wise to check the best before dates but you can freeze things to make them last longer or just be savvy and be aware that some products are edible for a long time after their "best before".

If you want to save money then this is a great store to have on your radar

Went here for chewing gum which unfortunately they didn’t have , but the staff still tried their hardest find me something that I can take home, which I appreciated a lot. Love this place and the workers

The perfect place to visit if you're looking for a nice bargain.

It's a small building but it more than makes up for this with it's assortment of snack foods, frozen foods, dairy, smallgoods and even bathroom and laundry supplies to choose from.

Everything is pretty heavily marked down either being discontinued lines or close to/past their best before dates, so do your research and buy smart!

I'd recommend visiting every couple of weeks or so just to get a chance to see new lines of product coming in.

Great selection of all items in catalogue. Friendly check out assistant. Very pleasant experience. Continues to be a great place for good priced products. Staff are attentive.

The staff are very simple, friendly and helpful.

You are bound to find a Bonanza of SURPRISES there - items that are normally not available in other Bigger Supermarkets.

Try their JEDA Cheddar Cheese - it comes in blocks of various sizes and weight. Wow!!!
They are the only store that stock it.
It's just Fabulous.
Real Cheddar.

Also at NQR the prices are more than reasonable.
And they have Special Senior Discount days too - every week.

All in all a nice cosy shop and you could end up saving a lot of money there too, in the bargain.

Under new management it's getting more products and bigger variety. Prices can be a little more friendly

The fact that you can get top brand and unknown brand products which are all high quality, for rediculously good prices is honestly the reason why Not Quite Right stays true to its namesake.

Great customer service, very frequent turnover of stock, and the ability to plan a party or stock the majority of your cupboards is honestly why I strongly recommend this store when you want to save a dollar or find money is just a bit tighter than normal.

A great place to shop for very cheap items.. everything in NQR way cheaper than the supermarkets. The specials on daily. The refrigerated section, cheese; yogurt, meat off cuts etc half the price than the supermarkets. Cereal, butter! I could go on and on:) the store is large and roomy. Always a bonus the staff are friendly and helpful. You won't walk out with a good but:)

Amazing discounts bought haagen dazs ice cream for only $4.50 when the normal price in a coles is like $11! So good
