Bendigo Corner Store Cafe

AMAZING AND ADVENTUROUS EGGS BENEDICT!
Had a delicious breakfast here mid October 2022. Not sure what it is about Victoria and Eggs Benedict, but they put some unusual things under their eggs!
This time it was Otway ham hock and apple cider Hollandaise, making a very substantial meal.
The large latté was good and the service, by Nai, excellent.

I booked a table at the Bendigo Corner Store Café at 305 View St Bendigo today as we had friends coming over from Ballarat to see the Elvis Exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery in the morning and from there we were going to have a meal. The food at the cafe was excellent and the company was great. The coffees were outstanding and the egg and bacon roll I had was superb. Although we dined inside there is plenty of room outside to eat and drink if you want to enjoy the sun. We all enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere of the Bendigo Corner Store Café was great. We would all return. Well done!

Loved the coffee! They really delivered. The food was both in quality and quantity. Did forget our order but it was public holiday so they were very busy.

Best place I have been for breakfast on my travels work so far. Eggs Benedict was amazing, almond latte was perfect.
If you want good quality food and service this is the place. Staff are amazing

Eggcellent eggs bene with ham, not too dry & the perfectly cooked eggs complimented with a seriously well made Almond Latte.

Can't go wrong for a breakie in Bendigo. Staff are so friendly & love to chat too (maybe because it's a quiet Sunday after Chops wedding).

I went to the Corner Store Café for lunch today with my mum and my 2 year old son. My son loved the outdoor area complete with sandpit and chalk board for kids to play with. The coffee I had was among one of the best I've had for a few weeks. The man that served us was extremely helpful and friendly going out his way to run around and check a number of different things for me, all the while with a smile the entire time! I got the special of Braised lamb shank pasta with feta cheese. This meal was absolutely to die for! I was extremely pleased with the overall service and quality of the food while here today.

What a lovely little Cafe. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and a very nice freshly cooked verge burger with fries. Had no idea this little Cafe existed as its a few blocks off the main route I use to get to the hospitals but next time I'm up in Bendigo I'll certainly be heading back to further check out this little gem of a Cafe.

Great, friendly and quick service. Had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the apple cider vinegar hollandaise, very yummy! And a delicious iced latte. My dad had the mushroom breakfast and really enjoyed that too, food came out quickly and hot and the staff are really friendly and attentive. Definitely will go again.

Due to a planned power outage I had to find a cafe to work from for a couple of hours. The Cornerstore staff were very accomodating and showed me to a table that allowed access to power to charge my phone and laptop. Coffee was delicious and I had the soup of the day which was very tasty! I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

Good service, friendly staff, good coffee and food is pretty good. We come here mainly for the coffee but every now and then we have breakfast. Staff are very accomodating and drinks come out fast. Definitely worth a try.

Had a an excellent Eggs Benedict with pulled pork on sour dough. Not too much bread and a smooth tangy hollandaise. Will go again next time I visit Bendigo.

Great Cafe for lunch. The sweet potato fritter with avocado and goats cheese was delicious. Service was great and perfect for a quick lunch.

My wife & I had breakfast there this morning and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Fast & efficient service from pleasant staff, great food & coffee at fair prices. Highly recommended.

You know what, the outside area is 10/10 the tables are designed for conversation. Food was excellent, coffee was a solid A+ I'd take a 1/3 star back because i was trying to be organised and emailed them for a booking which they never responded to. Seating was no issue though on the day.
