Tasman Holiday Parks - South Mission Beach

Stopped here for one night when we couldn't face pitching our tent in the rain. Stayed in the basic 'shack' cabin and it was perfect for us. The bed was so comfy. We had WiFi, a TV & a comfy sofa too. We don't mind sharing bathrooms, and the facilities are so clean!

We stayed for 5 nights and it was just amazing! after coming all the way from Melbourne it was a great final stop before heading to Cairns!
Staff is great and very helpful and they take so much care of the park, so beautiful! my kids loved the pool and playground! Plenty other kids to play.

Great for families!

We loved our stay here, especially the staff were so helpful and friendly (shout out to Elvira ). The room was clean, roomy and had all the amenities we needed. We didn't like the location as it was too far from the town of mission beach but that is a personal choice. Just to beware there is no public transport here but you can take taxis.

Lovely little place right on the beach with a great little pool and waterslides. My only call out is that the park is very pokey, and hard to navigate with a van, and with quite small sites. We were here in the off season, and it was hard enough then, I'd hesitate to visit in the on season with a big van. Beautiful gardens, decent amenities and wonderful location.

I stayed with my dog in our tent.
Beach directly across the road, with kids playground, amenities, basketball court, seating areas, dog beach offleash approx 3 km up the road.
Has cooking facilities with a big fridge for guests to store, food and drinks in.
2 amenities blocks plus laundry rooms, pool, tennis court, daily cleaning of public areas used, on top of any maintained required.
Quiet place, will definitely be staying again.
Staff were courteous and welcoming, kiosk has drinks, ice blocks and some grocery needs

Alvira is awesome, she made us very welcome, golf buggy tour to select site.
The sites are tight for a big van. But otherwise terrific. Water disappeared quickly after rain.
Toilets recently renovated and spotless.

Wonderful place for a getaway, really family friendly and fun. Great shared facilities, really clean in the cabins, great little playground and nice relaxed pool area. Straight across the road from the beach and Stinger nets for swimming. Lovely, friendly and fun staff, it just felt like such a welcoming home away from home. We saw a cassowary several times walking through the park, enjoyed the clown, thong throwing competition and sausage sizzle. We will definitely be back to stay again thank you!

I would like to say the staff were lovely and welcoming... always with a smile and a laugh....I stayed in a tent...and there was lots of shade that is important....and saw the local cassowary, goanna and wallabies....it was very peaceful and enjoyable... definitely will go back

Beautiful beach and great camp parc with a great lowkey vibe!

So close to the beach and the SLSC at the end of the road!!! Best location and the drive in is spectacular! Cannot recommend enough. Amenities are older but well kept and the pool was great. Has a smaller pool for the little ones and a slide! Amazing! Will definitely return!

We stayed here for Easter in our camper trailer. Sites are spacious, pool was great, plenty of activities. The facilities are clean and the staff are super friendly. We will be back

This holiday park is everything they say. We stayed in a beach front cabin and it was absolutely brilliant. Great for a little family, including very functional kitchen, big fridge, microwave, etc, private BBQ. Great climate control including air-conditioning x 3 (split system in each room), plus ceiling fans, plus opening windows with screens. Nice large smart TV, good Wi-Fi. Basically brand new and spotlessly clean. Absolute beach front, great park facilities for family. EXCELLENT VALUE.

I am very luck to stay there. I am from Alice Springs. We live there one night and late to check in. But the manager is so nice and kind, friendly talk and give us some guides on searching. There is a special place like reading room near the laundry room. That is a pretty comfortable room. Also this park is so clean and grass there is so fresh and tidy.

Great little spot to stay. Spending a week here. Beautiful pool and amenities. Beach across the road with stinger net. Short drive into Mission Beach. Will definitely recommend to everyone.

The park is well run, is just across the road from the beach and has a welcoming staff. Facilities have been renovated and the whole park is very clean. The Cafe has a very good menu for a small concern. New beach front villas are spacious, air-conditioned, and have all expected facilities. The verandah comes with seating and a barbecue and these villas have an enviable view across to Dunk Island. There are plenty of well tended powered van and tent sites. Cassowaries and goanna come right through the site. Good pool for families. I highly recommend this place.

Great park, very clean and tidy , close to the water and awesome view to Dunk island.
Had everything we needed and more.
Lots of ammenities available.
Would have to be some of the most friendly park staff we have come across on our travels .
I would easily give this more stars if possible.

Great location being right on the beach, fantastic for kids with playground, pool with slide, games room and basketball/tennis court. Only thing it could do with more of would be bbq's our cabbin didn't have one and there's only one in the grounds so if you're staying in a cabin you may want to bring one along.

A great park with the beach at your doorstep. Wonderful Cafe and very green sites. Amenities are very clean and well laid out. Very busy so book ahead so you are not disappointed.
