Nomads All Nations Hostel

Stayed here for 3 weeks and it was great! Very clean and tidy and the staff are super helpful, especially the manager, Luke! Convenient location right in the CBD and right next to Southern Cross. Free breakfast every morning and plenty of space in the kitchen to cook every night. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Melbourne! 10/10

Excellent hostel, clean beds and good kitchen area. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. Dan at reception made sure to show me to my room and show me where everything was located. He even gave some advice about where to go in Melbourne! The hostel is also good if you want to party or have a chilled night. Overall had a very good experience in this hostel :)

Cheap stay! Friendly staff! Free pasta rice coffee and tea. Spacious room and common areas. I ended up staying there for few months because I made great friends and had fun at the bar next door :) staffs are very attentive with the guests and they always making your stay comfortable. Definitely recommend this awesome hostel!

I absolutely love this place, I stayed here in 2003 for two months it was that good!! I actually worked in the attached bar next door and we had the best time ever, the location is amazing as it’s close to the Crown Casino and all that has to offer! The rooms and beds were just what you need in a hostel! It’s also a great place to find work if you’re looking for some. The trains are close and all the bars and restaurants you need are a short walk away! Love it unfcknblvble 😉

What a great hostel! In the centre of town, right down the road from the train and bus station. Room and the kitchen were super clean.

Ubar downstairs is a great place to meet other backpackers and grab a drink. Cheap and always a good time. The live music was awesome!

Stayed here while down in Melbourne for a conference. I was very happy with my experience here - the rooms were clean and the beds were real comfortable. The bar next door was terrific and the people were all so friendly and easy to talk too. Definately recommend and will be staying here again.

Amazing place to stay! Great location, right next to all the hot spots. The staff are super friendly and always help you out. The kitchen is spacious and plenty room to cook. The cleaners are spot on and do a great job. Great place, would stay again.

Such a great hostel to stay at! Really enjoyed my time here. Vivian was such a blessing. She made me feel so at home in this strange new country. Gave me great tips on nightlife and supported me every step of the way! I’m moving to Melbourne now. 10/5

Best hostel ever! Loved it so much there, easy place to meet people, staff is very friendly, Vivian was incredible helpful and always in to chat! The bar next door Ubar is amazing, the Wednesdays are suck. Definitely recommending others to this hostel

The best party hostel ever, since the day I arrived I’ve met so many cool backpackers in here. Ubar is amazing , everyday some new activity , staff is amazing. The receptionists made me feel so welcome , especially Vivian , she was amazing, told me all about the city and got me involved with other backpackers. Def recommending staying here to others

Disclaimer: This is the first hostel I stayed a in Australia, so I have no reference.

This hostel is such a bargain! For around 29 dollars per night you get to stay in reasonable clean rooms with big lockers and comfortable beds. The staff are young and always there to help you out, if you approach them with a humble attidtude (they will not co-operate if you are rude, which is fair) . The kitchen and fridges are my biggest complaints, the kitchen is very small and not very well ventilated and the fridges are always super crowded.

This is definately a party-oriented hostel, but i must say that the other reviews about loud music and drunk room mates are exaggerated, only during one of the 19 nights I stayed here was I annoyed by people from the bar associated with the Hostel.

All in all, I loved my stay here, much thanks to the lovely staff (Margo in the reception in particular!)

Cracking hostel! Super location, being just a short walk from Southern Cross station. Clean, spacious dorms and a great, sociable kitchen area. Reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. UBAR, the bar next door was the best! Something different happening every night of the week with fab drinks offers and super cool bartenders! Will certainly be back next time I'm in Melbourne!

Great rooms, fantastic atmosphere and wonderful staff.

Enjoyed every second of it, rooms come with lockers, BYO lock. Beds are comfortable, may need your own sheets + better pillow if you're a needy sleeper like me.

Slept underneath upstairs bathroom, gurgling, while disturbing the first few times, is great to fall asleep to.

Amazing hostel to meet like minded travelers who like a party down in Ubar! Old building with plenty of character with cool paintings around the corridors. Expect a wee bit of noise but you are in the middle of Melbourne after all! Thanks again for the great stay special mention to Luke who looked after us well!

Vivian is the best receptionist ever. Loved my stay here thanks to her. The hostel is a great way to meet people. Everyone is so nice. Love Melbourne bc of the way the staff treats people

Good choice for its position on the tram lines to where I wanted to go in St Kilda and South Melbourne. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, very clean, quite spacious, enough air flow in my 12 bed dorm, shower was hotter than in some other hostels, locker was large and working well, free pancakes for breakfast. It's a great choice if you're not bothered by tram and traffic noise, which I am not, thankfully.

The best location, cheap rates, friendly atmosphere, clean rooms, clean bathrooms and a big kitchen. Definitely not the fanciest hostel, but has everything you would want/need traveling on a budget. Being a 2 minute walk from Southern Cross station is awesome, with trains to everywhere and the airport bus.

I stayed here for two nights straight off the plane in Melbourne. The staff were very friendly and check-in was swift! The beds were comfy and it’s perfectly located right in the city. Will definitely stay here next time I’m in Melbourne. Thanks guys!
