Melbourne Pathology Boronia

This quaint little branch was run by two kindly women when I had my glucose tolerance test. If you're coming in at opening, it may test your patience as there's no dedicated front desk member to see to you, but trust the process—take a number, then ring the bell once. Someone will see to you and it won't be that long.

I did make an 8:30am appointment online, but decided not to puncture the quiet wait at the lobby—I was seen at 8:47am, and the time that I waited did not make much of a difference to me. I did get to 'jump' the queue in that some patients just do get fed up waiting and leave—maybe they live nearby and could drop in at a better time.

Note that if you are doing a GTT, they do tell you to notify them right away. This branch at least does take appointments, unlike Bayswater North and Croydon.

Again, two lovely women who seemed just happy to go about their work—they were a bit doting and offered for me to stay in one of their unused rooms, for my own comfort and privacy, since I had no car and nowhere to go for the duration of my test.

Melbourne pathology Borina is a great place to get your test done . Staff there are very nice and accommodating. Few things to consider before you go ,

1) parking is at the back and there are only 7 spots
2) best to get there nice and early . Before they open ,
3) they only allow 2 people onsite due to Covid restrictions.

Took a disabled friend to get blood tests done here today. The 2 lady’s we dealt with today, were understanding and caring through the whole process. They took their time and were able to take blood we had been attempting at other clinics with no luck of months!
Can only remember Shirleys name.

My partner and I attended Boronia Melbourne Pathology for a NIPT blood test, as part of the regular checks during our pregnancy journey. Staff were professional and friendly. We saw the google reviews and were hesitant at first, but decided to give people the benefit of the doubt. Going there we had no issues at all. There’s no red carpet service, but equally nobody was ‘rude’ to us either. Just your standard polite and professional people. What more could you ask for. Unfortunate if others had a bad go of it.

The worst pathology experience. The woman was rude, racist and arrogant. So called healthcare worker. She couldn't find a vein on my wife and was yelling at her for not being able to do her job properly. She was in pain afterwards and had to ask to stop. Then she complained her name was too long which was plain racist and uncalled for. Simple if you can't do your job retire, if not behave like a human. Stay away from this place. There are posters everywhere in the room saying "not to be abusive to healthcare workers" but clearly at this place it doesn't go the other way.

Extremely rude. My wife and I went to give blood tests on the 28th at 3:30 pm. The clinician Denise was extremely rude from the get-go. And when it came to drawing blood from my wife- it was literally drawing blood- I watched with shock and horror as she repeatedly jabbed my wife's arm from multiple angles. All I could think of was the shower scene from Psycho. I realize that sometimes the vein can be hard to find but this seemed rather excessive. I sincerely hope that this was done in anger rather than as a result of ineptitude. As a final note, we are told to be patient with and courteous to all medical staff which I wholeheartedly agree with. It isn't too much to expect that we are in turn treated professionally if not with kindness.

My pregnant partner and I arrived at 4.10-4.15 for a blood test as we both worked until 4 that day. The nurse refused providing a blood test because they closed at 4.30, which puzzled both of us due to the fact they were 1. Open and 2. Blood tests take two minutes to do.

After arguing with us about why they don't take patients during their opening hours she turned aggressive and started storming off with our referral from the doctor saying "fine I'll just do it". Seeing their aggression made us uncomfortable about the fact she was about to give my partner a needle so we decided to leave knowing that she was acting out of so much spite and anger. She continued to try and argue with me as we left. It's really upsetting to be treated like this by people who are in a field that has the goal of providing healthcare to people who need it.

Don’t go here! The nurse was very rude, told me my results wouldn’t be ready by the time of my surgery, and completely botched my blood test- it hurt and as I drove home a huge hard painful lump started to appear on my forearm. It is still very painful.

Absolutly disgusting service, receptionist is so bloody rude, if you cant talk to people with a little respect dont be there in your job, get another job.
If i could give no stars i would. There reviews show how didgusting this place is, get your tests somewhere else.

What a rude, miserable, sour bunch of old ladies that works here. This place is joke!! At least dorevitch is next door much nicer people!!! Definitely don’t recommend people go here you will be treated like dirt
