Well overdue review here. Cannot recommend this business enough. I was lucky enough to be seeing business owner, Evan, for my regular haircuts. Legend of a fellow, best hairdresser I’ve ever come across and the feel of the place has a great vibe. Evan’s business deserves nothing but praise. I had a fantastic haircut at Rockit Barbershop today, especially thanks to Harley! He was incredibly skilled and meticulous, taking his time to perfectly replicate the intricate details of the haircut photo I showed him. The blending of the layers was flawless, and he really nailed the precise fade I was hoping for. He was also friendly and professional, making the whole experience enjoyable. Was looking for a quick cut, walked in without booking. Good timing as they put me on the next available barber even though they were clearly busy that afternoon. Very professional and friendly but what I liked the most was the attention their detail. Overall very pleased with the cut. They did an amazing job!

While visiting Melbourne, I was in desperate need of a cut and beard trim. After much research, I came across Rockit. I sent them a message via Instagram, and booked my appointment only a few minutes later. Welcoming, attentive, well-priced, and I left with a great cut and beard shape up/trim by Evan. Excellent haircut, great atmosphere and always welcoming. I highly recommend this place - went once by chance and have been going regularly ever since. They have an excellent online booking system and it’s an easy location to access - right near a tram stop.

Outstanding customer service! Travelling to Melbourne from Canada, my beard clippers got bashed around on the flight and needed adjusting to get them working properly again. The boss at Rockit cleaned and oiled them for me, and told me how to adjust them myself when I got back to my hotel (where my plug adapter was). He wouldn't accept any payment for the service, and even offered to adjust them for me if I came back with the outlet adapter! The shop was clean, the staff friendly, and the customers looked happy! Check them out for yourself.

Awesome barber shop. Really attentive staff who do a decent cut. Not on the street front though, it's just inside the foyer of the apartment entry for 546. Look for their bicycle with ad board out the front of the building.

Cash only payments. Don't worry if you forget though, there's an ATM just outside.
Relaxed atmosphere, warm and friendly staff who know what they're doing and take their time.
Wait times do vary. When you walk in you write your name on the chalk board and that secures your place in the queue. I advise that you get in early if you're pressed for time.

I’ve been coming to Rockit for the better part of the 2020s and have trusted Sean with getting my hair trim and sharp every time. Sean has been nothing but professional and friendly and I’ve loved our chats about everything under the sun while he masterfully gets my hair done. My haircuts from him have been consistent and I highly recommend him for all your hair needs.
