Henry and The Fox

What a great restaurant. I ordered the House made potato gnocchi and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I was pleasantly amazed with the flavor of the lamb and red wine jus. My husband ordered the Garden harvest vegan spinach linguine and his meal tasted so clean and fresh- very light in flavor but in the best way. We both had to share! Just lovely.

Came here straight from the airport - thus place was near our hotel .
My friend and I really enjoyed the entrees and meal we had here - and the coffee wasn’t bad either.
We shared the Baked French Brie , crispy polenta fries , salt and vinegar calamari fritti and I had the salmon and sweet potato croquettes for mains .
Really loved the lightness and dressing with the salmon main course- but I think the highlight of the meal was the salt and vinegar calamari- the calamari was perfectly cooked and the flavours were spot on .
There is both inside and outside seating here ( we enjoyed sitting outside watching the traffic , while we ate above the road .)
Service was prompt , friendly and not overly fawning - staff were constantly cleaning , but in an unobtrusive manner.
Lots of gf options , and they accommodated food restrictions well . Obviously a local spot - lots of people enjoying lunch .
Would return here.

Great place for a friends get together. Loved the music. Service was spot on. Staff were attentive + friendly. Food was really yum, + baked brie on the menu is always a hit. + Sapporo on tap is always a good sign! 😊 Thankyou Ian for being a gracious + accommodating host, you deserve a pay rise! Look forward to coming back + trying a cocktail jug! ✌🏾

Got a takeaway Pork Belly Benedict and was delicious! Staff were friendly at the spot and would definitely come back next time when I'm in Melb to try it again.

They don't do takeaway coffee, would be perfect to accompany the Pork Belly Benedict.

We went to Henry and the Fox 4 times in 2 days because we loved it so much. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the owner Nick was amazing. He remembered that I drink Pepsi Max and came around to us so often to check in. I’ll definitely come back here when I come back to Melbourne, and I’ll recommend it to everybody. The best vibes from both the venue and the staff. Also the food is amazing, the servings are so well sized and I left feeling really satisfied. I really miss it already.

I chose the right place. Excellent Vegan food, amazing hospitality, every single bite of the food indicated how much efforts the chef and his team put into today's event. I'm glad to attend this.

I had such a great experience at this restaurant a couple weeks ago. A lovely lady named Hannah was my server, she was very attentive and the food was great! I highly recommend this place.

These guys were amazing. Awesome meal and the chef even prepared a specific meal for one of our ladies to meet her dietary requirements. Staff were super amazing

Great find while staying on Collins St. Excellent quick service and my chicken dish was superb.

Good atmosphere & music to have conversations over, busy Thursday night with lots of groups having a drink and meal with mates.
Had a little mix up at the start, but the folks at a Henry were very gracious, service friendly and top notch.
Will be back for the lamb next time

Came here for the first time and had breakfast. I would go back just for the beautiful waitress Danni, she was so lovely and friendly. Eggs 10/10 and the coffee was top class.

Nick always goes out of his way to make sure that you have a great time at Henry and the Fox.

The team are also very effervescent and energetic, and really want to make sure that you have a great time when you have beers, wine, cocktails, spirits at Henry and the Fox.

I've been coming to Henry and the Fox for well over 6 1/2 years, and it never fails to present an outstanding opportunity to mingle with great friends, enjoy convivial conversation and excellent food. May I say the service is brilliant and I love coming to Henry and the Fox. Always ask for the polenta chips with truffle, and my favourite dish is the Rissotto!

Dined in to celebrate my younger brother's birthday and my grandmother was visiting from the U.S. the team was funny and kind. We were seated in a quiet corner that allowed my family to talk and be away from the cold and busy streets. Food was diverse, delicious and Rightly priced! I highly recommend this place!!!

Stopped in for a quick dinner before heading out to a show. Good vibes, great service and the food was lovely. Recommend trying it if you you haven't already.

Steak night here I come. Visited on a Monday night for steak night. $28 gets you a beautiful cut of steak cooked perfectly, served on a bed of French fries, and accompanied by a pot of beer. There was ample seating, fast and friendly service. Music wasnt too loud which was good for chatting with friends. You can also order and pay via your phone which I thought was cool.

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. We were actually surprised with their pizza, very nice! All the food we ordered was quite enjoyable. The place is spacious but at the same time cozy. Good option to bring little kids as well. The price was reasonable. It was a pleasent experience.
