Thank you so much for introducing more vegan options! The food at The Terrace is great and the staff are lovely. It is so refreshing to finally have a good range of more sustainable and ethical food options at UTS. Hopefully we can catch up to the more forward thinking universities making a transition to plant based consumption.

I just wanted to thank The Terrace for their absolutely amazing integration of plant based menu items. From vegan chicken wraps and sandwiches, to Bircher muesli and then having delicious marinated tofu as a side to add to avo toast or anything you like, it really really makes it easy for anyone to cal in love with the lifestyle and it’s SO YUM!! Plus, they’ve got Oreo brownies 🥰🥰

I was invited to join the young Labor group at the Terrace of UTS. Bob Carr was the official guest speaker before the election 25 March. I enjoy event of my both Macquarie & UTS. It was entertaining to see the younger generation's aspiration, enthusiasm & leadership. It was also great to listen to former premier Bob Carr. All promoting Chris Minns as a premier. May be we are ready for a change to stop the scary war with China. We want to be at peace with all our Asian people

Interesting choice of menu. Amazing Food. Modern Australian cuisine. It had a good number of vegetarian options. In frame - Gourmet Pumpkin & Egg sandwich, Japanese rice with enuki mushrooms & spiritual drink Kombucha.

I'm editing my review & giving 5 ⭐ for The Terrace. I'm very impressed by the innovative menu. Tried the newly added Vegan Poke bowls. It was delicious.

Great ambience. They offer discounts to students and faculty. Vegan fritter roll is a great option for breakfast.

First time trying this cafe, I ordered a banana bread and it was very burnt, I understood as it was busy so I lined up and showed the staff member. He didn’t seem too phased and made me a new one, when handing it back he did not once apologise and gave me a rude look. I then found the new banana bread I was given was barely toasted, the butter would not even melt, it was still cold in the middle. So disappointing especially when I was very nice and understanding, very petty behaviour from the staff member. Won’t be coming back.

The staff seem to get overwhelmed easily, i have had my coffee order wrong a few times now, and they make you feel like its your fault when you correct them.

Extremely disappointed!! I Was ‘educated’ and ‘humiliated’ by the barrister!
I’ve been there a couple of times and find it’s being okay. But I was totally ‘insulted’ by the barrister this time.
Ordered a ‘special’ mango and passion fruit Frappe. The lady took minutes to understand what I’m trying to get even if they are ‘promoting’ it on a special board all the time. There’s no instructions of how it is made. And I suppose it is something like the Starbucks Frappe which comes as milkshakes and you can add coffee to it. I asked that if I can add one shot of coffee and the young lady said yes and added it in the order. I spent 10 minutes waiting and nothing is coming. So I asked the barrister how long should I wait and he had no idea of this order… He confirmed with the lady and started to make the Frappe. It turned out to be a ‘baby sized’ cup of juice blend. ( it’s even shorter than a Boss tin coffee)I was very surprised since I spent more than $10. I asked if the barrister added one shot of coffee in it and he said they don’t add coffee to this drink. I told him it caused me $10 and i was expecting something as big as the Starbucks Frappe that you can add coffee. He shouted ‘what are you talking about. We are not Starbucks.’ in a very rude way. I answered’ you don’t have something like a model cup showing the size and I suppose to get something as a Frappe that worths $10! This is ridiculous. ‘ He said ‘YOU ARE RIDICULOUS! We are not Starbucks. What are you talking about.‘ I was in shock since I never met a more ‘rude’ staff than him in Sydney but I’m still trying to be polite. I asked him’ I’ve already paid for the extra shot coffee. What are you going to do.”
He made an extra shot in a seperate cup and told me ‘ taste not guaranteed.” I told him I would take the coffee and have it later.’ But he poured it in the juice frappe and it tastes gross.
A few mistakes they made:
1. Staff should be aware of their menu. If they don’t make the traditional frappe that you may find in other cafes, the lady should inform me at the beginning and i will definitely add coffee to it.
2. The lady didn’t handed the order ticket to the barrister and I was waiting for a longer time. Who knows how long should I wait if I didn’t ask.
3. No apologies for missing my order and wasting my time.
4. Being incredibly rude to patrons. And they try to make you think you are the one who made the mistake and should be blame for.
5. No instructions of their special menu and cause misunderstandings.
6. When complaints arise, they curse you and blame you.
7. Very immature to handle customer complaints considering they’ve been there for a long time.
I will try my best to contact their management and get some kind of apologies… hopefully.
So DON’T spend your money with them and get insulted!!!u

Coffee is bland and the flat white tastes just like milk. Photo is as soon as it was handed to me.
