Shoes & Sox Myer Melbourne City

I had a disappointing experience. I wanted my son to be fitted properly, so chose Shoes and Sox as it seemed like the most kid friendly. The city store is in Myer which was almost impossible to find, as it’s doesn’t actually say that anywhere unless you are looking through all the store options and see myer city is there, but on Google it just say Burke st, so you are walking around going where the hell is it. The phone was never answered. When we finally figured out where it is (on level 6 of Myer). I was disappointed with the small range, and the solo assistant seemed inexperienced and lacked confidence, had no skills in managing an anxious 5 year old who was refusing to participate and the whole measuring processes was very basic. In the end it ended up basically being the size that I thought it was with no value add. So we drove to the city just for this shop, had trouble finding parking, then trouble finding the shop, then trouble measuring, and finding something in the limited range. We did pick a pair of shoes but I wonder if they are the right ones or we just wanted to leave with something after all the trouble. I always prefer to shop online and decided I wanted the “store shop experience” because of the perceived customer service value it provides and I now know why I shop online.
