I attended the Preserved Moss Art Workshop held by Plant Collector Melbourne at MIFG today. It was a great experience to create an artwork with natural material and uniquely made by ourselves. This hidden gem is a pure delight to visit! If you’ve got a spare afternoon on the weekend, Sam is the sweetest host and will even provide tea and bickies while you browse!

5 stars is to low to give this place. Not only do you walk in and your hit with a beautiful space and gorgeous plants but Sam the owner is why this place needs more then 5 stars.
Plants are beyond belief and the vibe up there is so relaxing and intoxicating. I've scored some absolute gems and im hanging to go back.

Attended the grand opening on the 4th of Dec and what a fantastic shop! An absolute gem for anyone interested in indoor plants from the basics to some absolutely rare stunners!!

Not even home from my visit to your store yet (2.5 hour drive for me) and I couldn’t wait to review this and say how happy I was with the service here. Sam is a joy to deal with - full of information, articulate, bubbly and friendly! She has beautiful healthy stock, an amazing selection of rare plants, and other supplies! Walked away with a huge smile on my face. Cannot wait to grow these beautiful anthurium plants! Thank you Sam!

Sam cared for my vast collection of indoor plants while I was away for over a month. She was the perfect plant sitter who went above and beyond to make sure that my green friends were healthy & happy when I returned. In fact I don’t think they missed me at all. I would have no hesitation recommending her and Plant Collector Melbourne to anyone who loves their plants.

Our favourite plant shop in Victoria! This place is filled with beautiful plants, lovely people and the occasional adorable pup - what more could you want. Sam is welcoming, knowledgeable and always happy to have a chat about anything plant or non plant related, could not recommend this spot enough! I’ve gotten many dream worthy plants from here which have all thrived with Sam’s expert advice (and fertilisers - the cheapest bulk deals on GT I’ve found!).

My favourite thing is the friendly plant community that’s encouraged with open arms here as someone who’s just starting collecting and learning about rare plants recently. Love to come in and hang out with Sam and other plant people for a few hours so much so that this place has become one of my dogs favourite places to go!

My sister Katy and I came here today while we were doing our typical plant buying spree, hunting down new places to check out and admire.
Sam was an absolute angel offering us tea and chatting about our obsession with plants! We felt right at home at her shop.

Attended the opening day of Sam's new store 'Plant Collector Melbourne' last weekend. The vibe was amazing and Sam and her team were incredibly welcoming and they greeted all their customers with big smiles :) The store is really well decorated and I felt like I was in Plant Heaven! I ended up leaving with a few plants and will definitely be coming back next time with my partner. Whether you are local or on the otherside of Melbourne, if you are wanting to add to the list of your unicorn plants Sam's shop is definitely the place you want to go <3

We came all the way from Sydney to visit Sam’s shop. She has beautiful, rare and unique plants not often seen in your local nurseries or Bunnings. Sam has a wealth of knowledge and a wonderful YouTube channel too. Definitely worth the visit!

This store deserves more than 5 stars!!! Amazing plants and well taken care of. They are even potted up in a quality soil mix not just a cheap potting soil!

What a beautiful space Sam creates for her guests!! We attended a kokedama workshop organised as a surprise bday gift to 2 friends. Sam welcomed us, allowed us to bring along extra trimmings to personalise the event, and even kept my 3 yr old entertained while we made our kokedamas. Her plants are beautiful, her guidance is great, and the icing on the cake- she is such a warm and kind individual. We cannot wait to attend future workshops that she sets up. I highly recommend the kokedama class and have 6 other friends who do too!! Many thanks Sam!!!
