Master Lanzhou Noodle Express - South Yarra

This place has the best handmade beef soup noodles. The braised beef noodles are excellent. The chilli is full of flavour but not too spicy (unless you want it spicy!). The soup has depth of flavour. The noddles are the right texture. Serving sizes are generous. You can order via an app. Food arrives quickly. It was so good I forgot to take a photo until after I finished the noodles. I plan to drink the soup. That’s how good it is.

For a warm hearty meal, I recommend this place. The taste is flavourful, the broth is great, all the meat taste wonderful.
Wide noodle can soak all the broth fast though, so keep that in mind.
Service is meh.

one of my favourite places to go to down the corner from my apartment. come here all the time, i always get the soybean mince pork. i like adding the sauce they put on the tables, and getting my noodles firm. have gotten a few of their juices before and the plum juice is my go-to, though the passionfruit and apricot are also awesome options. nothing better than a tasty, quick, and cheap meal - 5 stars across the board ^-^

Went here on a night out. The food was amazing and we had incredible service. The noodles were delicious and the soup was absolutely delightful. Their customization options were plentiful, I could the perfect meal for me and it came out very quickly. Everything was amazing and being in South Yarra it is in a perfect spot. We will definitely be coming here again soon!

One of my favourite noodle shops in Melbourne. Generally very consistent no matter which shop you visit. Nice layout and spacious setting. The drinking water station is always a welcome feature. Was a quiet night when I visited so my order came out in about 7 mins.

Great food! Try the spicy and numb beef noodle soup. If it is too spicy, ask for extra soup. Great atmosphere as well plus quick service.

Newly opened noodle bar in South Yarra. Warm staff, well organized services and most of all, fantastic noodles!!! Options of noodles’ width and thickness are available. U can see how noodles are made through the window which is amazing. Broth is so good. Must pick one or two side dishes!

My first time here, as a walk-in. I like that there are four styles of noodle, from thinnest to widest. I chose the thinnest with Spicy Pork Mince that came with julienned cucumber, bean shoots and whole peanuts. I like a mild spiciness and this was well within my hotness tolerance limits. I was told it was medium spicy. A filling meal. Quite delicious. Including a 330ml bottle of sparkling water, the cost came to $19.18. Great value. Will be back.

The hand-pulled noodles are delicious, especially recommend choosing wide noodles for dry noodle.

I’ve been to this place before, and all I can say, is it’s really good. Master Lanzhou Noodle Express is great for any amount of people, and it’s affordable. Last time I came I think I got the normal noodle soup, and it was delicious!

Noodles taste great. My favourite is the classic Lanzhou beef noodle with thin noodle. Recommend.

The noodle here is clearly hand make as it tastes really different from pre pack noodle. The broth is savory and full of aroma. I love the decoration and the cleanliness of this place. This place look so new! They also display their add on at the counter so you will know what you will get. The best Master Lanzhou Noodle place I been to. Way better than the other stores.

The service, food and atmosphere was unreal. Tables and the overall interior of the resturant superb. Food quality amazing tasted incredible!

The prices are cheap, service quick and food is excellent.

While they only really do a small handful of dishes, mainly dry noodles or beef soup with noodles, they do them extremely well so you're never disappointed.
