Great wine selection (as you’d expect) but the seriously delicious food was a delightful surprise. We had the goats cheese and eggplant appetiser and the ocean trout with horseradish, I’m salivating just thinking about it. Service was impeccable. Looking forward to going back

There's a new swanky bar open at 299 Toorak Road that's the talk of the town and whose name is on everyone’s lips. South Yarra Cellars, the brainchild of industry pro's Messrs Christofle & Gregory really know their stuff and the result is a sleek and sassy winebar & winestore, tucked under the Como Centre but without South Yarra prices, that is sure to please even the most fussy wine aficionados.
However, don't let the name fool you. South Yarra Cellars is so much more than just a wine bar/wine store. While it does have a cracking wine list with a vast array of quality local and imported wines from around the globe to indulge in or takeaway, they do have a loaded bar and make the most delicious Martini's and cocktails if that's your thang and a selection of divine snacks to accompany your drink of choice.

Try the Nimbin Valley Triple Cream and Long Paddock Bluestone with pickled figs and lavosh or for a winter warmer, Meatballs in tomato sugo with parmigiano, basil and quality grain bread that's to die for.

Staff are on top of their game, fabulous and friendly with their personalities adding to the upbeat cosy vibe. There is a private room available for functions and plenty of outdoor, undercover seating that is also "pooch friendly if required.

All in all, it's no wonder South Yarra Cellars & Wine Store is fast establishing themselves as a serious player in this space.

Stopped in for a drink with friends, and was impressed by the service and selection of wines available. Came back to buy a great bottle of red as a gift to be cellared, and received exceptionally-detailed explanations and recommendations from the owner to match what I was looking for. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

This has become my favourite place to unwind in the sun with a beverage after work or on the weekend. The owners and their staff are top notch......attentive, warm and welcoming every time. Super drink selection with new concoctions underway! I'm yet to try the food, but I definitely have my eye on the Swordfish Carpaccio....

What an awesome place. Service with a smile. So welcoming. I work upstairs and LOVE popping in here after work. Wines are delicious and you can purchase a bottle or some craft beer to take home. You'll keep seeing me that's for sure!

Fab little spot, delighted it’s opened up just around the corner from us. Had the eggplant & goats cheese crostini and a glass of the French rose that I can’t pronounce & it was divine, will be a regular here for sure. Staff are super friendly and it’s dog friendly! Thanks guys!

Just popped in as round the corner from home. So pleasantly surprised with service and choice. All locals (and not) should give it a visit, you won't be disappointed. Great nibbles also (need hotter Horseradish!!). Thanks again for a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Great Staff and a good selection of wines at a reasonable price (Especially for a Wine bar in this area). Absolutely worth dropping in to give them a shot. A quick drink turned into an enjoyable couple of hours!!

Cosy little bar which doubles as a bottle shop.
The staff are super friendly and passionate about their wares. There's a big selection of wine, craft beer and spirits available for in-house consumption and takeaway. There is food available and you can see from the care put into thier preparation that it is of high quality. A great place to stop in for some drinks after work.

Brilliant service, great selection and easy, simple menu to accompany your wine of choice. They know their stuff, and we will definitely be back and recommend this to anyone local to the area.
