Such a good little find! Tried a few Scottish drinks that I've never even heard of and had a good yarn with the staff. Gotta reccomend the Tennents and a Bucky Bomb! Delish 🤤

Came here especially for my first pint of T in over three years and was met by this sign.

Very sad I never got to see the place and meet some fellow Scots.

Hopefully they can figure something out.

Love this bar. Came with family and the owner was so friendly, she made the best jalapeno margarita I've ever had. Came a second time, female and solo at 9pm and different bartender but same friendliness and tasty plain margarita. Safe and chill vibes for all. Favourite new local thanks Highlander!

The management are amazing people friendly and funny, being great hosts to an incredible end to our Saturday night, 5 hours later we stumbled home.

This was my first visit to the Highlander Bar and I was pleasantly surprised. I would describe the bar atmosphere as casual and laid back. The drink selection is good as it the bar food menu. The function rooms upstairs are of a good size and easily accommodate 40 people for stand up drinks.

A tiny pub with awesome food, cocktails and friendly staff members. The beef burger is literally finger licking good. The staff members make unique cocktails and they make you try. The live music on Thursday night is something we look forward for every week. This pub in Melbourne supports so many talented artists who play on Thursday nights. It is my best hangout spot in Melbourne.

My friends and I went before the rush, got a few couches and a table in the more quiet upstairs bar, delicious pitchers! And you get a free pitcher the next time you come in if you connect to their free WiFi (not sure if thats still going). Also, the haggis balls are pretty bomb, staff is wonderful and friendly

Great place to catch up,,,,, well until the after works drinks crowed is finished and the DJ takes on the next plan for the evening. Within our group we had 2 fellow people from Scotland and they mention it is a great place when one is feeling home sick!

We recently reserved "The Library" upstairs at Highlander Bar for an event to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary/vow renewal with 25 of our closest friends, and we were all really impressed. From the initial contact, right through to the night itself, Kate was extremely helpful, answering all our little questions, and helping to organise everything, including food and drink, providing a projector and sound system, and getting us sorted with early arrival, taking photos, and just generally being extremely accommodating. Everything was fantastic, and even though we only had the room booked for 4 hours, we were able to arrive nearly an hour early to set up and take some pics, and they let us stay on and dance until closing time, almost 3 hours late! Basically, they're great guys and girls, and we all had an absolute blast. We'll definitely be back!!

A very cool and casual bar with a wide selection of local and Scottish beers plus other stuff Scots like to drink. Very safe, cosy atmosphere and friendly. 5 stars.

Aaaamazing! Came here for a birthday lunch and absolutely loved it! Loved the little scottish details and the atmosphere of the place. And the burgers- Y.U.M!!! So full of flavour, ahh now that I'm thinking about them I want another one! Super friendly staff, and unbelievable birthday discount! Check it out!!

What an amazing experience I had here. Really nice staff friendly and chatty. The owner went out of her way to fix my broken heel! I thought my night was over before it had even began but she made my night complete and I was so grateful, thank you so much. Your clever idea worked so well and I happily danced all night! Xo

The service was great, tasty food that came out quickly and love the prices! Its a great lunch spot for a casual no hassle catch-up. If you haven't been, I recommend you try it. I'll definately be back.

Choice of seating from enclosed booths, to long benches with bar stools or squat padded stools in secluded areas. Basic but tasty and delicious meals and an ambience fitting a 17th century traditional Scottish pub.

I held a 60th at the highlander for my dad. It was such an amazing venue! The staff went above and beyond for us on the night. Kate was amazing and catered to my every need. She even organised balloons for me at the very last minute when I forgot them! I highly recommend this venue. Kate and her team are fantastic!

It gets five stars for selling haggis in Melbourne.

The walls could be made of my imagination and the floor could be lava and they'd still get five stars for haggis.

People who worked there were nice and it didn't smell funny.
