Long lines at lunch for a reason. Since my uni days almost 20 years ago this place always had cheap sushi which definitely exceeded the value of the price.

For $2.50 a roll you get a very decent sushi roll. Even with only two people serving and a small space the line moves pretty quick.

Today I ordered the egg sushi roll, spicy tuna and fried chicken. They were all very tasty and of standard size, even bigger than some other sushi chains.

For a quick and cheap eat this place is perfect.

Great sushi at an amazing price! So much better value than anywhere else nearby. Great range of rolls too. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I wernt to the place for Sushi Roll, the meal we always have when we were students in Melbourne (20 years ago!!!). This place ticked all the right boxes of what we are looking for. The size was big and the price was cheap, but it does not sacrify the teste of it! Highly recommended.

Amazing price for what you get. Got the tamago roll, avocado roll, and tofu roll—all were great but tamago roll was my favorite. Only $2.50 each! They were pretty busy but the workers were very efficient and moved through the line fast. More of a grab and go spot, not a lot of seating

When places like sushi hub charge $4.50 a roll, this place is certainly a place I have defaulted to for a quick and affordable lunch.

Sushi is made fresh all the time. You always see the staff in the kitchen hard at work rolling up the sushi just in time for sale.

I’ve probably had a stale one probably once? But it was during closing hours.

It's filling and taste good. I can't justify considering other more expensive options, unless this shop is closed or sold out for the day.

Cheapest sushi hand rolls that you can get anywhere. $2.50 per hand roll and they taste amazing?! I go here all the time when I have a cheeky sushi craving and just want something that is quick, easy and cheap. They’re always so nice here and they take both cash and card. Been going here for years and will continue to come here.

Great quality/price sushi in Melbourne central. If you want a fast food sushi this is it. If you want a place to stay and eat, is not.

Conveniently located on the side of MC, I’ve stopped by numerous times on my way to catch the train.

While they aren’t the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had, they’re still really good! The staff are patient and lunchtime service is always quick despite the long lines. Though keep in mind the place is quite small so the seats are often occupied (take out is best).

Overall amazing value, great little place to visit for some delicious and tasty sushi. For $2.50 a roll, it’s hands down one of the most affordable places to grab sushi in Melbourne!

While other places sell at $4 or more, at this place only cost you $2.5 for each roll and you can enjoy the good quality and flavor!!! Highly recommend, will go again.

$2.5 for sushi and $10 for salmon sashimi. So good. No inflation here ! :)
I had Salmon, prawn and smoked salmon rolls. Plus a Salmon Sashimi pack. The only down side is there were no mayo in the seafood rolls. So not much flavor.

Cheapest sushi roll in Australia. AUD2.50 for a salmon avo roll. AUD10 for a huge portion of salmon sashimi. Look no further people.

All the sushi places I’ve been to, here in Melbourne, charge $4.50 for sushi roll which I always found a rip off. Here they charge $2.50! Wow! Tastes amazing! Though I wish they had the one with salmon, avocado and cream cheese but still loved it! Thank you!

Absolutely best sushi in Australia. Very affordable and the sushi rolls are always fresh and full of fillings. Have been coming here for over 6 years and have no complaints. Love it
