Seeing so much positive reviews and hype about this new sandwich/ burger place so I thoughts to give it a go. And Bad Eggs sure didn’t disappoint!

On the day, we got:
- Rascal (beef burger)
- The drip out (southern chicken sanga)
- Little brat (egg salad sandwich)

All of the sandwich and burgers tasted great. They were so loaded and looks aesthetically pleasing! The southern chicken does have a bit of a spicy kick but still nice regardless. The soft boiled eggs salad sandwich was divine along with the creamy mayo and toasted brioche. The beef burger was so loaded which made a bit hard to eat so definitely expect messiness.

Overall, would come back here again and try other items on their menu!

Featured dishes:
🍳 - Hot Mess - Fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, hash brown, Colby cheese, caramelised onion & spicy mayo on a grilled wrap [$14.00]

🍗 - The Drop Out - Southern-style fried chicken, American cheddar cheese, house-made coleslaw & milk Jalapeno mayo on a soft milk bun [$14.50]

🥪 - Little Brat - Soft-boiled eggs & fresh lettuce on toasted brioche bread [$12.50]

🍰 - Tiramisu - Caramel sea salt [$10.50]

☕ - Tiramisu Latte [$7.00]

I loved everything I tried, but my favourite was the Drop Out! The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and paired well with the coleslaw and soft milk bun - a perfect burger 5/5! ✨

The absolute HIGHLIGHT of the meal was the tiramisu! Not only do they have fun sandwiches/burgers, but they also specialise in various flavoured Japanese tiramisu. They had oreo, magnum, caramel sea salt, and the original flavour on the day I visited. Because I had the tiramisu latte, which btw is AMAZING, I ordered the caramel sea salt cake!! (Note - don't drink the tiramisu like a regular coffee with the straw - get a spoon of the tiramisu, dip it in the coffee and eat it out of the cup!😮‍💨) Sorry, back to the caramel sea salt tiramisu - it was one of the BEST tiramisus I've had in a long time!!!! Their tiramisus are light and fluffy, creamy and rich in flavour! They're so easy to demolish - actually a little dangerous lol but still, I regret not getting them all!! A MUST TRY if you're in the area!!

I was really impressed by everything here! Wished they were around when I lived in the area.

We had a wonderful Saturday breakfast at Bad Eggs located in Toorak Road South Yarra.

We ordered the Little Brat, the Easy Rider and the Rascal along with their freshly squeezed OJ and a cold brew. Everything was delicious and made from fresh ingredients. They make their own relish which we tried in the Rascal. The scrambled eggs were lovely and creamy. It was nice to have freshly squeezed orange juice with our breakfast too.

It’s a small but cosy corner shop with seating along the front and side windows.

The staff were lovely and friendly. All food was presented well, and all in a takeaway style wrapping.

We would definitely visit again!

There's nothing bad at all about Bad Eggs
In fact, you'll definitely be in for a great meal here. The Easy Rider is easily my favourite - creamy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, chedder cheese, chives and tomato relish in a soft brioche bun. The Rebel is just as amazing, think smoky and punchy flavours courtesy of the smoked ham, Swiss cheese and spiced maple sauce. Burger lovers will be delighted by the Rascal with its juicy 160g beef patty and the beautiful flavours of the onion jam. Wash it all down with a cold brew, and you'll be sorted for the day.

Blown away by this new hidden gem & local of mine - simple menu but absolute quality. I am torn because I love their egg sandwich (Little Brat) but their Drop Out fried chicken burger is also amazing. Fresh OJ is yum and my partner enjoyed the cold brew. I've actually been back more than once, can also recommend their ham and cheese toastie (The Rebel).

This cafe appears to have been named after some children, lol. The owners definitely have a sense of humour.

The burgers and toasties have names such as "Little Brat", "The Drop Out", "Teen Queen" and "Juvenile Delinquent." The names are good fun and the little ones will have fun ordering here.

I ordered a strong almond latte which was delicious. The coffee had a great flavour, and the coffee is roasted in Abbotsford. The latte art was fun.

To eat, I ordered a Little Brat, which was soft boiled eggs, fresh lettuce on toasted brioche bun toast. OMGosh, this burger was perfect. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the golden yolk still soft and warm. The avocado and fresh lettuce made it soo moorish.

Then I had an Easy Rider, which was crispy bacon, creamy scrambled eggs, American cheddar cheese, & tomato relish on a soft milk bun. OMGosh this was amaaazing!

The scrambled eggs were creamy, soft and absolutely delicious. The bacon was plentiful and crispy. The soft milk bun was delish.

To finish I had a Juvenile Delinquent, which was smoked salmon, sour cream, wild rocket, & cripsy capers on a glicks bagel.

The salmon flavour was really tasty, and the crispy capers were excellent. It's the first time I've tried crispy and more places should be doing this. And the rye bagel worked so well.

This was a great experience and I'm definitely going back. Its definitely worth a visit.

Thanks for the invite.

Went there last night with my colleague, was shocked by the amount of the food and how economic they are.
We ordered three main dishes, the spicy pork belly don, spicy tantan men, and the stake bento box. Along with the miso soup and the takoyaki.
Everything was so delicious and I love the spicy tantan men the most. Dine-in will definitely give you a better taste of the food.

The sushi and sashimi bento box was well balanced with a good amount of fish. The tobiko in the poke bowl gave it a nice texture.

Look for discounts via Liven.

One negative: the counter seats are either too tall or the counter is too low. I recommend sitting at the main table.

Highly recommend this place! There is a wide variety of delicious things to eat and drink. We ordered the Easy Rider, Rascal and The Sissy.

Easy Rider had beautifully cooked, chivey scrambled eggs with delicious melted cheese, crispy bacon and tomato relish. Everything complimented everything, perfectly!
Rascal burger was perfect. Had a nicely seasoned, juicy beef patty, fresh salad and delectable onion jam. This burg packed a flavour bomb!
The Sissy has yummy housemade falafel, which was deliciously matched with the tasty salad, hummus and pickled veggies.

We also had a cold brew, latte (amazing coffee) and fresh OJ (sooo good!).

What a perfect cafe in South Yarra area. I love that chicken burger (The Drop Out) and also Little Brat which the soft-boiled egg on toasted brioche bread. The coffee is amazing! Definitely will come back to try the rest of the menu. I heard some recommendations to try the Salmon Bagel.

What a great selection of burgers and sandwiches! Their cheeseburger is really good though! I would totally recommend that. And also their egg salad sandwich. Like, super tasty and even though they sound simple, they pack a lot of flavour. I also got to try their salmon bagel which was super generous in portion. It’s a great place for a pick me up if you’re feeling hungry.

Bad Eggs is elevating the humble egg sandwich to Tokyo-esque levels (where egg sandwiches are a culinary delight). The Easy Rider with creamy scrambled eggs and loads of bacon is so good but for something fresher their signature Little Brat with hard boiled eggs, lettuce, avo and Mayo really hits the spot too!

(Invited to attend but opinions are my own)

My friend and I were just leaving the bars on Chapel St and heading into the CBD when we decided to stop at Bent-Oh and have something to eat.

We absolutely loved it!

The place is tiny for dining in, but very clean!

We were immediately brought delicious hot tea!

You can order from your phone (all places should do this!!) and the food arrived within ten minutes.

Very generous portions and absolute deliciousness!

The service is also really nice!

If you’re in the area, you should definitely give Bent-Oh a go!!

bad eggs offers a range of simple but delicious options and is in an amazing central location along toorak road! My fave was the toastie with ham, Swiss cheese and maple syrup. The fried chicken burger was also so damn tasty - the jalapeño mayo was perfectly creamy and had a good kick

If you’re looking for an affordable, filling and super tasty brekkie in South Yarra, look no further. Bad Eggs has a simple yet delicious range of sandwiches and burgers that are all $15 or less. I got the scrambled egg roll and swapped the bacon for avo, making for a creamy and flavourful sandwich. I also tried the crisp and flavourful falafel as a salad, although you can also get it as a sandwich. My partner raved about the fried chicken burger and we both loved our Supreme coffees. Next time you’re in the area for brunch, visit this cute and cosy spot - you won’t regret it.

A cute little shop around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Chapel Street and Toorak Road, Bad Eggs has all your bready carby deliciousness in one place. From burgers to sandwiches, there is something for everyone.

We tried The Drop Out which is their fried chicken burger and it was AMAZING! One of the best chicken burgers I've had in a while. The Easy Rider (they're bacon and scrambled egg burger) and The Little Brat (the soft boiled egg and lettuce sandwich in a toasted brioche) were equally as good. The sauces in all their items were spot on and take everything to the next level.

Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We live in the area and have been here 3 times now, Bad Eggs has been consistently amazing each time! Our faves are the egg and bacon sandwich, fried chicken burger, and surprisingly, the cheeseburger, which imo is as close as a real american style burger as you'll get in Melbourne. Large sandwiches and always left us wanting to come back.

🥓 Easy Rider - beautiful combination of crispy bacon and creamy scrambled eggs
🥑 Little Brat - the soft boiled eggs were just perfect
🍊 OJ - freshly squeezed orange juice

This place is a South Yarra little jewel. You think you know the best fried chicken burger? YOU'RE WRONG!! 'The Drop Out' was the best I ever had in my life!! It was served with care and love. The quality was outstanding and it even looks like a piece of art. Bless you Darius! You culinary mastermind.

I actually loveeee this place so much - I came in with little expectations as I’ve never had a loaded egg sandwich before and wanted to see what the fuss was all about. It was mind blowing - who would have thought an egg sandwich would taste so good??? Ahh I highly recommend it and it’s super close to South Yarra station so it’s perfect for a bite on the way home or even after your workouts on Saturdays!
