I went in on a Sunday night for a fresh burst fade and I was greeted by a friendly Japanese woman by the name of Toshie who would also be cutting my hair.
She was very careful and precise with her technique. And I was even more surprised by her hospitality. Not only did she offer me a donut but a warm cup of tea and a coffee for the donut. Top marks to this legend! 🌟

Been coming here for over a year and definitely very happy. They always listen to what you want and they do a really good cut.

But what really makes them better than any other is the service!!

This is a gem of a barber shop! I walked in without an appointment about an hour before closing on a Sunday while on vacation from San Francisco. The shop was completely empty except for the owner, who was cleaning up in the back. As soon as I came in, he approached with a broad, friendly smile and welcomed me and my girlfriend. He offered a seat for her to sit in while she waited and offered us both an espresso, which I gratefully accepted. We chatted for a bit while we sipped on our espressos, and he shared that he's been in the haircutting business since he started helping out in his brother's shop at the age of 12. Our coffees completed, he asked me how I'd like my hair cut, and I said I wanted a skin fade. This was a bit of a surprise, since my hair was starting to cover my ears a bit due to it having been over 2 months since my last haircut, but he took it in stride and seemed to relish the thought of sculpting my hair into a fresh style. He got to work, and I immediately could tell I was in the hands of a master. He worked with speed and precision, pointing out along the way all the little things the previous barber had done wrong (and all the spots that had been annoying me to the point where I decided I needed to get a haircut while on vacation). We had a pleasant chat all throughout the cut, though, unlike with most haircuts I get, I found that I was asking most of the questions, because his concentration was so fully focused on the job he was doing. When he was done, he beamed with pride, saying, "When you do something for over 40 years, you better love it!" By now, it was about 30 minutes until closing, and I appreciated the cut so much that I decided to get a straight edge shave as well. This too was done with great skill and left me feeling both smooth-skinned and refreshed. When all was said and done, I walked out of there feeling very satisfied and looking like a new man.

A young Asian man, styled to fit in with a k-pop group, cut my hair. He was polite, attentive and accurate. The end result is good.
Previously, an old-Turkish-vibe man cut my hair. The end result was also good.
Haircut cost $40 cash, or +$2.50 extra to use their ATM.

Went in for a haircut and a shave before my wedding day. Absolutely brilliantly done. The wet shave was professional and there was great care taken. Ended with a very smooth face and a 10/10 haircut. Thank you to the owner and the team for making it such a great experience.

It is the best hair cut I have had in a long time. He had attention to detail. When I asked for 3 buzz cut, he agreed and then checked if he could do a 2 and then 1 around ears to make it more tidy. It make the hair cur looks so much better.
They have great ideas which are worth paying a bit more for. Very happy with the result. My wife was very impressed as well.

Was glad to be served by Ibrahim who is one of those seasoned campaigners who has mastered his craft to perfection! It was a treat to see him exhibit his art of hairdressing while delivering what I requested! Would certainly come back for sure!

It's worth the price , he gave me the exact length I needed , very experienced man , 50 $ dollar , overall I enjoyed the whole process I had long hair and I wanted to give it medium length, the result was up to the mark , definitely worth it and must visit for men , he even offered me a coffee

I've been to Ab's twice in a row now and plan to keep coming here. The haircut is done fast and well, the attention to detail is amazing. Not the cheapest, but the convenience of being able to get my haircut while I'm in at work in the city is worth the extra cost and for the quality.

Very professional guys! This was my 3rd visit, there is almost 15 min wait but honestly it is worth it! I have got a cut from 3 different barbers here the thing i have observed is they all never rush no matter how busy it is. They take their time and give a great attention to detail. Today the guy just spent about 30 minutes for fading the sides, and the way he used clippers, and scissors for minor details showed his professional skills and experience. Overall the $40 for a cut was a bang for the buck! Lastly, they have an ATM and the staff is very friendly. Their Place and tools are not much fancy as you would see at other places around the CBD but if you come here its more for the experienced guys that you pay rather than the ambience. 5/5 keep it up!

I had my first haircut here after the lockdown ease. I went here for the first time with the bit of hesitation. The place is really clean, not much waiting, friendly folks. The hair stylist named Sam is one of the cool stylist I knew in Melbourne. He had a patience to listen all my requirements and he provided good suggestion. His work is really cool and I finally got a flawless haircut with beard trim after a long time.
