Platinum Apartments at Freshwater Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family at Platinum Apartments. Smooth and easy check in/check out process. Helen and Rachel were super lovely and absolutely amazing. The apartment had everything we needed and was within walking distance for the casino, shops and transport. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay there again next time we visit Melbourne.

This is a business that is seriously focused on customer satisfaction but they also have the facilities and apartment to back it up.

From check-in you will find little surprises during your entire stay. When you go to cook a meal on the quality appliances you will find olive oil, pots & pans right through to salt and pepper with plenty of serving dishes and utensils.

When you go to have a coffee you will find decent coffee pods and a proper bottle of fresh milk in the fridge, went down a treat with the melting moment biscuits supplied.

When you go to do some laundry you will find soap powder to match the quality washer and dryer.

When you go to shower you will find quality shower gels and soaps, these were a bit above the usual hotel stuff though.

Every time I went to use an appliance or facility the consumables required were not just supplied but supplied in a quality format.

Special shout out to Jack who was very welcoming and was only a phone call away the entire journey.

The building is quiet, the people are respectful.

The view was great, especially watching the helicopters taking off.

Business foxtel package with a Bluetooth connectable sound bar made for great entertainment at the end of the day.

IGA with built in liquor store open until 9pm is situated next door and was very handy. Everything else was 5mins away.

I have only stayed in a few places in Melbourne but I won’t be searching next visit, I will be staying here.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at Platinum Apartments. The location was brilliant and the balcony views were stunning. The apartment was very clean and modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Check in and check out was very easy and there was always a quick response to any questions.
We very much look forward to our next stay.

We had the most enjoyable 'child free' weekend with another couple at Platinum Apartments. Staff were so friendly and very accommodating.

The apartment was amazing and the facilities at the building were great. We were able to relax at the apartment while enjoying the pool, gym and BBQ areas and then venture in to Crown and Southbank.

We will definitely be back, we would like to do it with and without the kids, the apartments would be great for kids, and equally without.

High recommended if you are looking for accommodation in Melbourne!

Very comfy apartment for 2. On 30+ level . Fantastic views. Very clean with details on amenities from basic amenities to umbrellas shopping trolley to coffee tea jam & milk. Pricey a little but worth it.
Have us a Xmas gift basket too.

We stayed at The Londoner with friends for a vacation and Aussie Open tennis. The service from Platinum Apartments was excellent and they met us right upon arrival. The apartment is gorgeous, with incredible views, three bedrooms and a great kitchen and living area. The location is outstanding and an easy walk to everything. We loved our stay.

This was a lovely apartment in which to stay while in Melbourne. It is very handy to everything on Southbank and a short walk over the pedestrian bridge to the city. It is very well appointed with everything we needed for our 6 day stay and the managers and concierge were always available and totally helpful, from the check in process to the late check out which they kindly allowed. The only thing I would say is that it is advertised as a two bedroom apartment and while we didn't need the second bedroom, I think it would be too small to be comfortable if used as a second bedroom as there was no space apart from the double decker bed, no cupboard or hanging space and no space to actually walk around the beds. However, for my husband and myself it was totally suitable and quite lovely.

This is the second time we have stayed in the same apartment at Freshwater Place at New Year. It is always immaculately clean, very well equipped, the facilities are excellent and it is ideally located close to the CBD. The Platinum team is very easy to deal with and always very responsive to emails and will go out of their way to ensure it is a pleasant stay. I can highly recommend them.

Group of 16 international students. Had an amazing stay at the penthoust Platinum Apartments. The host are always contactable on the phone, and very friendly. Room has a great view over Docklands, easy walk to Southern Cross station. Close to Coles supermarkets and trams.

Our city escape at Platinum apartments was fantastic! Magnificent city and river views, beautifully decorated and furnished, the apartment was a luxurious home away from home! It was the perfect city central location for us. Helen was so accomodating and helpful and her little personal touches a delight. Highly recommended for location, comfort and spectacular views. Love it!

Platinum apartments, was our saving grace. We managed to book a beautiful apartment at Freshwater place at 6pm on Saturday night after a falling out with a terrible airbnb situation. The staff at Platinum apartments were so friendly and attentive the entire time. The room had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back to this complex and we will definitely be using Platinum apartments for our next trip back to Melbourne.

Everything set out, from checkin with Jack to check out at the end. Beautiful apartment. Wonderful facilities and perfect location close to all the restaurants of Southbank and the shops in the city.

We are so glad we found this place. Exceptionally clean. Everything you could need for your stay (we were there for 5 nights). Fantastic support staff - very helpful and quick to respond on the one occasion we needed to call them to get help with parking.

When planning our return to Melbourne the first thing we will do is check Platinum Apartments availability.

We were on 50+ floor, so an outstanding view, an amazingly fast lift up to that level, and perfect privacy and comfort within. Very impressive electric blinds from ceiling to floor in the corner glass windows of the loungeroom. We had a 3 bedder, and gave us 2 bathrooms, spacious kitchen which was the whole width of the apartment and opened onto the dining table which seated 8.

Platinum Apartments are very professional, easy to deal with and really helpful. The apartment we had was excellent. We have used this company in the past and will do so again in the future. We cannot recommend it enough. A class act - well done Platinum Apartments!

Platinum Apartments was a great place to stay and we enjoyed our family time. It located just one street away from Crown Melbourne, and not far away from Flinders Street station and SEA LIFE Melbourne. We have a warm and meticulous introduction from Jack. The apartment has included everything we needed for our holiday. The view from day to night was fantastic. Every morning you could see the hot air balloons rise from Yalla range with sunrise. You could also see the cruises from Port Melbourne. Children not only enjoyed to stay in the apartment but also the places we visited. We have made the right choice to stay in Platinum Apartments, and we have an unforgettable lovely holiday. Thanks to Platinum Apartments and thanks to Jack.

I have been travelling to Melbourne on business since 1972 and for leisure activities since 1984. Over that period I have chosen a mix of hotel or apartment style accommodation with varying degrees of satisfaction ranging from acceptable to disgusted.
Five years ago it was my good fortune to discover Platinum Apartments, in Southbank, and to meet the delightful manager Helen Dawson and her amazing team of enthusiastic and friendly staff.
From my first contact and stay I was captured by the excellent location, the high quality decor and amenities in the apartments and the very secure building. I just didn't look elsewhere from that moment.
I have stayed in at least 6 apartments and found each one to have it's own unique character, to be roomy, bright and always spotlessly clean. The apartments all have amazing views of the Melbourne CBD, a short stroll across the Yarra River. I often found that once I've parked my vehicle in the secure onsite parking area there was no need to start the engine again until I checked out as the apartments are surrounded by a vast array of quality restaurants, entertainment in the Casino across the road and a stroll to Melbourne's shopping precinct. Almost everything I needed was close by. I found the apartments to be great value for money considering the high end accommodation status.
In my experience Helen Dawson and her staff were the cherry on a wonderful accommodation cake. They have always gone above and beyond to assist and satisfy my needs and comfort.
I strongly recommend these apartments to you. Once you experience a stay with Platinum you will know what I mean.

We had a wonderful week staying at Platinum apartments. Amazing view and so close to everthing. The apartment was clean and tidy and well appointed so all of our needs were catered for. Just fabulous.

Myself and 3 friends booked Platinum Apartments last minute after a nightmare experience with Air BnB. Less than 30 minutes after I had booked and arrived Rachel came to show us our room. We had hoped for a large room as we were staying for the long weekend. Rachel went above and beyond to accomodate our requests and the room was outstanding. This is the second time we have stayed here and have found staff to be wonderful. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We recently visited Melbourne to watch the Australian Open Tennis 2018 and stayed with my family at the Platinum Apartments in a 3 bedroom apartment which we all loved.
