Brian is simply the best!!!!! He really takes amazing care of his new customers and this simple 5 star review does not give him enough credit.

Got my RWC done for my mini cooper, done perfectly, no issues.

I couldn't get my rego plates screwed on because the rego plates and my car screw holes didn't match up, and Brian helped me with no fee.

He even got me an amazing deal for some frames, just because.

These might seem like small things but it's the effort and care that Brain puts in, to go the extra mile, making my encounter with him a stress-free & pleasant experience.

I'm so lucky to have found Brian and I'm always going to recommend him to anyone that needs a mechanic.

This is a very late review since my first visit ( maybe 4 years ago) ! I really want to promote this workshop for you out there, all of my 3 cars are servicing here and they are all different types of cars, 1 is daily commute, 1 is 4x4, another 1 is prestige 2000’s European car. They have been doing all the right things with good consultations and advices accordingly to different problems. I have full confident to send my cars here anytime. Friendly staff and environment.

Brian was amazing, transparent, honest trustworthy and extremely pleasant to deal with. As a young woman I often feel taken advantage of at mechanics however this was not the case at advanced automotive. I won’t go anywhere else now.

I’ve had a couple of great experiences in this place. And I’ll keep going! When I bought a car, I didn’t know too much about mechanics and I was pretty nervous as it’s tricky to find good people in this industry. So they made my Roadworthy Certificate in a couple of hours with a very good price and amazing customer service. Then the maintenance and a couple of sensors in the dashboard and the have always helped myself kindly and supportive.

I am highly impressed with the service provided at Advance Automotive in West Melbourne. I visited them twice with an intermittent issue with my car, a situation that can easily lead to unnecessary tests or repairs. These guys have been excellent to me. There's few businesses who I can unreservedly recommend but they have proven over half a decade they're deserving of the title. Even though I have an old (2006) and unexciting car by most standards, nevertheless, they always treat my car well and have a reasonable and realistic approach to maintenance. Even some odd gremlins which had popped up due to injectors and oil sensors they've taken care of using depth of knowledge and excellent troubleshooting skills. This has been demonstrated on more than one occasion and is why ill be coming back as long as they stick around.

A great team - the most reliable and intelligent mechanics in the city. After looking at selling my 2006 model 3 series, I then came to Advance Automotive to look at upgrading it (instead of selling). They gave me honest and frank advice and upgraded the suspension to a new set of Bilsteins - which did everything they said it would.

Thank you Phil and everyone at Advanced Automotive. Very happy with the work carried out and now feel confident driving my car after substantial work was done. The charge was well under quote and I highly recommend this team.

A massive thank you for the days of work spent on making my VW polo GTI a more comfortable and more importantly a more safe car to drive. This team of mechanics I cannot speak more highly of. My aircon was not working, I had a leak in the radiator hose which is a common fault in the VW’s and these guys sorted it out with professionalism, friendly service and great communication. The price was very reasonable considering the work that was carried out on the car. I will definitely be a return customer. Thank you once again!

I have now been to Advanced Automotive twice this year, once for a regular service and the secobd time to have the breaks checked and both visits went smoothly. I have nothing but good things to say about this business and Brian in particular. All issues sorted out easily and the communication was brilliant throughout. Legends! I've used Advanced Automotive to keep my 20 year old Rav4 in one piece! Prices and fair and they go above and beyond to help you! I recently had my number plate stolen, and I didn't know! Brian noticed while I was driving past, and call me straight away to let me know! I recommend them to all my friends :)

Been going to these guys for 5 years now and I couldn't recommend them enough. Been in a couple of times for little things expecting to have to pay and they didn't charge. Great customer service, you never feel rushed and they are very helpful with advice and direction in general. Regarding pricing they are always honest and up front and based on discussions with mates for comparison they are very reasonable. overall, this gives great peace of mind if you aren't a car expert.

I found a nail in one of my tyres while driving and was in the area. Stopped at Burson's and they recommended Advance Automotive. The guys repaired the tyre, assembled it back on my car straight away. Very trustworthy and excellent customer service.

I've been going to Advance Auto for around 5 years. They are very very good at their job and amazing value. If they can do a thing, they'll do it well and inexpensively, and if they can't, they'll tell you straight out they can't do it (eg fixing my sunroof) and try and find someone who's can. I reckon they were less than half of the price of the Audi dealer for the same service. Can't recommend highly enough.
