Matilda did an amazing job creating my dream cake for our intimate wedding. The colour theme came out perfectly and the detail was amazing. The red velvet cake was moist and so delicious. Our guests were in awe of how amazing it was! I can’t thank her enough for creating a lasting memory for us.

I’ve now ordered different cakes for a few events and every time have been so happy with the cake - it was also an excellent customer experience Matilda was super accommodating and nailed the brief - easily accommodated for dietaries too, the gluten free cake was delish! Definitely recommend!

They made my best friend’s dream cake! Beautiful staff, super easy order system, and I couldn’t have been happier with the finished product. Looked absolutely divine and tasted even better. Sometimes heavily iced ‘aesthetic’ cakes are dense and dry but this cake was incredible, (chocolate sponge with cream and fresh berries) Even the icing was delicious. Can not recommend enough!

We ordered a cake for our son's 3rd birthday. It was perfect! It was so beautiful and really delicious, everyone commented on how yummy it was. We have ordered cakes from other places before but none came close to this one. Will definitely order again!

Isabelle's cakes taste like real, indulgent homemade treats...only a million times better than anything you could make at home. The shop in Richmond is such a delight (like Isabelle!) with pretty pink tables, sparkles galore and a flower wall. A magical cake paradise.
She's awesome and helpful with any catering wishes you have, and does tons of fun events and special limited edition treats (like the Baker's Bento (photo)...YUM).
The proof is definitely in the pudding...

From the first query, Matilda was fantastic to deal with and super quick to respond. We were so happy that they were really organised during this stressful covid time! We ordered the White chocolate raspberry cake with cream cheese buttercream & freeze dried Raspberries + pansies and fresh fruit for decoration (as seen on Instagram). The cake was a nice dense and moist vanilla cake with buttercream through the middle and outside with raspberries studded in.

We did order the 7" cake which serves 14-18 per their website and was probably a bit ambitious for 6 adults in iso... But no-one complains about too much cake ;)

Matilda made the cake for our wedding and MY GOD she created a masterpiece! So much care and attention was shown to the whole process. She made us cupcakes to taste, suggested alternatives for dietaries, guided us when we were indecisive and was super responsive - even as we were organising things from the other side of the world. She delivered it to our venue out of town on the day as well to make sure it arrived safe and sound. We went with the carrot cake, and it was moist and had amazing texture.

Just so much love for her craft. She is an absolute star and we are SO GLAD we went with her. Such a delight.

I cannot reccommend this place enough. We got a cake for my daughter's first birthday and it was so amazing!! Literally my whole family loved it and we are all so different with our preferances. It was dense, sweet but not too sweet, so fresh and just YUMMY! Im obsessed now. So well priced as well for its size and quality. Presentation was excellent too. WIN WIN WIN.

Fantastic cake and service - would highly recommend! I ordered the flower child cake for my engagement and the cake was absolutely delicious as well as beautiful. I also received lots of comments on it throughout the day on how fantastic it looked. Matilda provided exceptional service on the day of delivery and was very communicative throughout the whole process.

Is there a better place for coffee and cake in Bridge Road? I doubt it.
Comfortable seats and fitout make this a great place to drop in and catch up with a friend over a shared slice of cake. Friendly service too😀

We recently purchased cookies, brownies and sticky date pudding from proof bake house and they were TO DIE FOR! Our 3-year old daughter could not get enough of the cookies and kept asking for MORE. 100% recommend going out of your way to stop into proof and try some for yourself 😻

In this weird covid era it's hard to find a way to celebrate a birthday. Luckily Proof delivers straight to your home at a reasonable fee. They were extremely lovely to deal with, very quick replies and helpful. The cake itself was delicious! (Would highly recommend the Ferrero Rocher). It was moist, not dry and just the right amount of sweetness. The decoration they did was absolutely gorgeous too. Family members were asking me if they were close to home so we can pick up more goodies more often! Thanks for the brilliant service and cake.
