Granny's Grave Beach

Lovely area with interesting history and heritage. Unfortunately some low IQ vandals have defaced the signage to try erase "whites" from history in some sort of short sighted quest to change the past. It's bizarre that we even tolerate this type of divisive and unpatriotic behaviour. Vandals should be prosecuted

Absolutely gorgeous views of the beach, really well paved walking paths, wildlife nearly everywhere I looked, really interesting piece of history

Gorgeous spot. Great views of the ocean. We even saw a whale! 🐳 also a lovely historic monument.
As a Harry Potter fan, there was also a fortress for Wizards Unite, which could entertain the kids while you whale watch!

Really enjoyed this walk ! Great paved walking path through beautiful and quiet coastal sand dunes with gorgoues ocean views.
The grave site was well kept with an informational board close by to read

Exactly as expected, nice memorial, nothing over the top, nice signage and explanation of the history of "granny" and the significance of the site and person

Lovely location, easy to park the car & paths and walk ways are easy to manage for everyone.

Part of my local area. Always majestic and powerful. Panoramic views and often no footprints in the sand
