Yesterday.
Some of the photos were from another time.
What is better than Bubble Tea? Bubble Tea and Loaded Cheese Toasties!
Come on down to the Wave Cafe and feast on food and beverages that will melt your taste buds and send you into a food coma.
Their Bubble Tea is awesome and wide selection to choose from plus interesting normal drinks as well like Taro Latte's and Honeydew Latte's which I want to try.
Their cheese toasties are unbelievable and they use 3 cheeses instead of one so they are over loaded with cheese to bring you to your knees.
They have other treats and drinks as well that I want to try.
The staff are super friendly and love a good chat.
The atmosphere is lovely and feels like your down by the beach.
The wave branding and artwork on the wall is gorgeous.
Three things though:
1. My friend ordered a regular and got a large.
2. They said they ran out of chips for the cheese toastie on the side but I saw a women with one and it was either because they went out and got some or they had some all along.
3. It did take a while for them to make my friends drink unlike last time when it came quick.
Highly recommended to all Bubble Tea lovers and first timers and if you don't come for the Bubble Tea, come for the friendly staff and the delicious cheese toasties.
Nice to get our after lockdown and hopefully it stays that way for a while.

Bubble tea has finally hit Mornington. I was there for the opening and now I've been three times so it's time for a review!

In the past I've sort of avoided bubble tea as I'm not a huge fan of tea, can't have milk and I don't like the idea of edible things in my drinks.

But with delicious bonsoy as an option it was time to put those prejudices aside and give it a try.

While I still find the pearls a strange concept I didn't dislike them. And a cold, sugary drink is lovely. The coconut creamer is also lovely, I tried that previously with a chocolate tea and can recommend that also.

Lovely little place with friendly staff and a menu that caters to even the most fussy/dietary challenged folks. Give it a try.

Sensational tasting drinks 🍹 really fresh and friendly service. There is ample seating outside and inside and the place feels happening. I had the milk tea and it’s tasted great. There are loads of options to sample.

A lovely surprise to find a cafe that is quieter than some on the main st in Mornington.
Excellent service, healthy options (brunch, smoothie bowls, bubble tea, + some vegan options). This is one to check out 💗 if you want a relaxed cafe.

OMG absolutely delicious, worth the drive from Albert Park..
Smashed Avo on Rye Bread, and Mango Cheese Cake.
Thanks again to the staff/Manager that made these two recommendations.

Amazing food, wonderful customer service, and what a variety! The best toasties you’ll ever have, and the frappes will temp you to go back for more. Positive and clean environment. I live almost an hour away from Wave Cave and I’d be willing to take the trip in my spare time just for the above, and not to mention their decedent smoothie bowls! 110% recommend!

Great place to get a nice refreshing and tasty drink, or something a little more filling! Can't wait to revisit.

I love this little place. The food is lovely, the people are nice, it looks clean inside and has a nice little spot out the front. I especially come here for the Bubble Tea (FINALLY IN MORNINGTON) and have slowly tasted a bit of everything, from food to atmosphere and haven't been disappointed.

Staff members were so lovely, willing to answer any questions we had, let us try some of the jellies & gave some great suggestions. Ended up having a drink suggested by the girl working & it was sooooo good!! So glad there’s a bubble tea place in Mornington now:)

Found this place by accident. Best bubble tea - better than all the franchise places by far. Friendly service too.
