What a beautiful, tranquil place to stay! The views and surrounding walks are just stunning, Kylie left us a container of seeds to hand feed the parrots, which we really enjoyed, she was very helpful and kind, we highly recommend this
Accommodation for anyone wanting to spoil their senses 😀
Only a short drive to Lorne, to see all the wonderful shops filled with hand made items, the local restaurants are great with really good tasting food. 😀 there is a local wine outlet that sells chocolate wine …. Exquisite!! ❤
The beach is clean, and great for swimming.

This was a fantastic experience we loved it. Very clean and lovely surroundings. The owner meet us at the entrance and was really nice and explained how to find our glamping tent and even gave us a late check out. The birds were amazing we were feeding them apple off our decking. Highly recommend this place

Beautiful cottages, very private and have everything you need from coffee/ tea to cooking oil, wood and milk.
Very nice and clean. Only downfall the wifi wasn’t working which was needed as I had work to do, hopefully it works next time.

Oh, I just want to go back! I'm torn between spreading the word and wanting to keep it a lovely selfish secret so it's available anytime I want to experience what's important about being alive.

OK, go on, then. Book. You won't be sorry you did. 5+ stars

Absolutely loved the Lighthouse cabin. I was really surprised with how clean and fresh and the entire set up. Lovely linen, electric blankets on all beds, spa bath, complete kitchen, and a fantastic set up fire pit outside ready and complete with logs set up to sit on to toast the marshmallows.. Wood for the indoor combustion heater all supplied and stored in a box on the veranda and a lovely guy came and lit the fire for us. Thanks Ryan. Kids absolutely loved the place and amazed at all the cockatoos that came and visited for breakfast. Outdoor table and chairs supplied to sit out on the veranda and take in the ambiance of the property. We cannot wait to go back. Sue

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend get away. It's great for couples who want to feel the outdoors and still have the comforts of home. Love the wild life and birds. The birds come up to your room which is amazing. So peaceful and quite here. Great for relaxing.
Lorne Bush House Cottages are just a short 10 minute drive down to Lorne town centre and Beach and close to Erskine Falls and Teddy's Lookout.
Highly Recommend this Accommodation

This place feels just like home! Not only because at the drop of a hat, the staff at at your door step to provide assistance when needed, the cleanliness is of high standard, amenities are amazing and our family really just can't get enough of this place. Kids have so much to occupy them with the yabby fishing, the bird watching and feeding and the beautiful walking trail. Definitely our happy place. Thanks so much guys. The cottages are just our cup of tea.

The only complaint we have here is the weather! We visited in late February and needed all our clothes - and the fire each night to stay warm (very unseasonal - and hardly the fault of the management!) The cabin was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The grounds were spacious with lots of lovely bush around. It is about 7km from Lorne township, but, for us, that wasn't really a problem. The few minutes drive each day was more than compensated for by the lovely setting. Extremely comfortable beds!

This cottage in the woods includes a warm fireplace and food and water for attracting birds at the balcony. It's a very nice place to relax, and watch the birds, build a small fire outside. Great for a small family outing.

I see no reason for giving less than 5 stars to this place. We had a wonderful time over there with our little one who enjoyed the most. The cottage was so clean, tidy and cozy with a lovely woodfire heater which heated the whole cottage perfectly. There were also a wall split and a electric heater for colder weather to be used. We had two separate bedrooms in the cottage which made us easy to leave our little one in the bed during the night while we were sitting around the fire on the couches. The location is wonderful as it is only 10mins drive to the beach and shops but far from crowd and noise which you can sit on a chair on your balcony and enjoy the pure nature and birds singing. The size of land which is specified to each cottage is really big as we totally had our own privacy. Ryan was so handy and nice as he welcomed us at the arrival providing lots of wood for setting the fire outside of the cottage and also for the heater.

Highly recommended as we will definitely go back very soon!

Great location. In the bush but around 10 minutes drive to Lorne where there are shops (1 supermarket) and places to eat. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. We needed both the heating and the air conditioning during our stay and both worked well. Nice and quiet apart from the Cockatoos getting a bit vocal sometimes. But this is the charm of the place. The Cockatoos come visiting hoping for a meal and whilst it would be unwise to hand feed them some of the smaller parrots will happily sit on your arm and eat from your hand. I saw a mob of Kangaroos including a mum with Joey in pouch when I was out for a run (a short 800m circuit with a short but savage hill - great for hilly intervals) and plenty of bird species. I had a go at fishing for crayfish in the dam and netted 20 in 10 minutes - should keep kids young and old busy for a while. The owner popped around for a short and informative chat which was helpful, but otherwise no one bothered us for the 3 nights we stayed there. I loved it there and would happily have stayed longer.

Stopped here for a couple nights while my husband and I (From Oxfordshire) were exploring the Great Ocean Highway. The cottage was very well equipped and the cleanest accommodation I have ever experienced. Everything was perfect from the warmth of the greeting, to the wildlife surrounding this little part of Australian heaven. Have recommended this location to friends and family and in fact will be buying a break here for some friends of our in Melbourne. Plan on returning one day.

We took our girl here and we all had the best time. It was quiet, secluded, cold (in the middle of winter) and magical!!! Such a lovely spot to enjoy the people you love and to enjoy our beautiful nature. My daughters Dad and I rekindled our romance after years of separation- so I'd best add that it is romantic!! (:

Close to Lorne but feels like you're on your own private escape! Birds are entertaining in the morning. The glamping tents are great mix indoor/outdoor. LOVED IT

Highly recommend Lorne Bush Cottages for couples or a family. Mini break was great but could easily spend a week.
Greg came out to meet us at the key box and from there - took us to Yabby Cottage to light the fire- which had already been set.
The two bedroom cottage is clean - not ultra modern but super comfortable and homey.
Cockatoos and rosellas waited to be fed on our balcony - which over looked the valley beyond.
Lorne Bush Cottages is about 3kms from the first roundabout you hit when you first enter Lorne. Head up Deans Marsh rd and it’s well sign posted.
Lisa and Greg are accessible via text which was great because our party of two turned into a party of four - was happy to pay the additional amount.
The grounds are large so you’re not jammed up next to the other cabins. Lots of wildlife including a koala in the tree outside my bedroom window.
Kitchen had enough of the basics - we cooked the first night. Lit the fire by ourselves the second night and just star gazed. It was just lovely.
Highly recommend Lorne Bush Cottages.

Such a nice place to stay up in the trees. You get cockatoos visiting you in the morning ready for a feed. The managers are very friendly and laid back and the accommodation is very comfortable. Only gripe would be poor internet but with views like that who would use it anyway
