Lorne Surf Apartments

This is such a beautiful boutique hotel with amazing views! Very reasonably priced for what they offer - the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, the fit out of the whole place is just lovely.

We like the self check in experience with having key codes, there isn’t a typical reception desk where you can pay cash or whatnot but that is generally how the smaller boutique hotels work. The lovely staff member made sure that our room had the heater turned on before we arrived (after hours) which was lovely.

This place was perfect for our needs. It was clean, keyless entry, spacious, and for the price we paid, it was definitely value for money. The spa was great after all the walking we did during the day. I would stay here again.

Stayed upstairs in an apartment with a long Balcony. Very clean and neat Apartment with everything you need. Bed was very comfortable too. Some view of the ocean through the trees and far enough back to be away from the busy roads, but you can still hear the ocean. The host is very accommodating. Will happily stay here again.

Just spent 2 nights in the apartment with twin spa room, absolutely divine! From the moment you walk inside the apartment you feel instantly relaxed and happy. You can hear the waves crashing at night and it was only a 8 minute walk to the beautiful beach. We came in winter time but the apartment was nice and cozy with the heater and we used the spare blankets available :) 10/10 would stay at this accommodation again!

We arrived at Chatby Lane and was greeted by Chris. Showed us to room which was everything we needed. We had the spa suite which was absolutely relaxing which is what we required. So peaceful and quiet to sleep and woke to the birds which was so lovely.
Will definitely be back and will be letting everyone we know to go for a visit , they won’t be disappointed.

My wife and i stayed at Chatby Lane Lorne.The room which was a Deluxe Spa room .
Chris and his wife are fantastic the service that they provide is above and beyond.
Chris walked us to our room and showed us around where everything is. The room was very clean and well maintained. I Highly Recommend anyone who is looking for accommodation don' t bother looking at anything else as you well be very pleased.

The stay was great, Karen, the lady who served my partner and I was wonderful and welcoming. I would like to thank her greatly for sending my towel I left behind by post!!

I enjoyed the cockatoos that would visit nearly every morning (please don't feed them just look at them).

Overall, my partner and I enjoyed our stay there.

New management is extremely helpful, Chris and Angela were very welcoming and went above and beyond their assistance to accommodate our needs. The room was clean and the price is very reasonable. Overall a great experience!

My wife and I love Lorne. We love it more now that we've experienced a stay at Chatby Lane. We had initially booked the smallest room but upon arrival we were upgraded as a bigger room was free.

The room was very grand and clean and the bath has jets and even the cuckatoos didn't bother us in the morning. We'll definitely stay again.

Amazing stay at Chatby Lane - really spacious and wonderful spotlessly clean room, with all you need - kettle, hairdryer, toiletries, good WiFi etc. Excellent location near to the beach and town. Very friendly owners and housekeeping team. We will be back!

A great place to spend a few nights. In a very peaceful location. The room was modern with a comfortable bed, couch, dining table, and spacious bathroom. Hot and powerful shower. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We stayed at a spa studio on the second floor for a night. The service was attentive and Karen was very friendly. From the balcony of the studio we could see the ocean. Breakfast was brought to us in the morning, with choices selected the previous evening. Checkout was not rushed at all. Overall, we had a great time and will be back when we're in the area. Wonderful experience, very accommodating and friendly. Reasonable price and wonderful room. Just a short walk away from the beach and main strip, avoiding all the noise.

These apartments are in a great location nestled among eucalyptus trees on the hill east of the centre. Supermarket is very close. The service is great and the rooms are clean and really spacious. The cockatoos are pretty loud in the morning but don't wake you up too early.

Large rooms for two occupants. Spotlessly clean. Table and chairs inside and outside room Inside. Kitchenette a good addition. Great views of the Lorne foreshore from front window.
