Its so worth the price! For the price of $12/adult-you get eat all you can mains, unlimited tea,coffee,cream desert, fruits, soup. You can also do take away -its all self service wherein you can get what you want fit all you can in their takeaway container❤❤❤👍👍👍😁😁😁 this where you can fulfill your stomach to the fullest in that price👍👍👍

A hidden gem in the middle of Warrnambool. Paid $17, got an all you can eat meal with tea and coffee included. The food wasn’t 5 stars but it was better than I could have hoped for given the very low price. 10/10 if I’m ever back in Warrnambool I’ll be eating here again!

Great place to have dinner or lunch respectful staff food is hot and delicious I'm impressed at the cleanliness and hygiene of this place the have a very large range of dishes on the menu and keep everyone happy with the drinks list thanks for the awesome experience you guys should be very proud you pull together as a team and make the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing.
If you are going as a family or just by yourself either way your in for a treat the mixture of spices and and consents and the textures will make your mouth melt.
All in all a very pleasant place.

All you can eat $18/adult including ice cream, soup, fruit, coffee and tea, the price is reasonable to me.

Nice to see that it's all been upgraded . Got our usual freshly cooked honey chicken and chicken and cashew to takeaway. Greatly enjoyed it.

The family was satisfied plenty to eat friendly staff wash it down with tea or coffee not many buffet give hot beverages good enough anything more is a waste thanks 👍 prices were up due to public holidays.

Lovely service, worth the value. Dessert was good. Don't trust the negative, tried it for yourself. It's only $14 per person for soup, Main coffee, fruits and dessert.

Staff is friendly, we enjoyed the foods so much. All you can eat, my son who is 4 years old is free. Happy with everything. :)

This place was really nice, good food with all you can eat.
I had 2 mates that were chefs and they said the only thing bad about it was that the potatoes didn't taste that well. But the rest was good.
Plus icecream and deserts are included in the all you can eat.

I've returned to Warrnambool after (many) years away so this review has been updated to a basis of local all-you-can-eat-chinese buffet.

Hao Kai is a Warrnambool institution. Unless my memory is faulty, it is identical to the one that I first visited years (decades?) ago. The menu is what you would expect if you've ever visited a Chinese buffet.

It is currently finishing a fully re-fit .. which is a reincarnation of my memories. A perfect example of "if it ain't broken ..."

The quality is equivalent to that of a food court while the price is about the same as a single, small dish from the Gateway food court Chinese buffet.

(It's a bit tricky but I think the quality has improved over my memory. The deep fried items were lightly, crisply battered while the vegetables in the mixed dishes included a level of just-cooked crispness which is rare in bain-marie serveries)

The sole caveat/criticism is that the bain-marie items were not heated enough. Either the water settings were too low or the chef was depending on the bain-maries to do the actual heating. However that is easy to fix and I can't do 4.something stars - so 5 stars it is.

18 bucks for all you can eat with about 16 dishes plus soup, fruit, jelly, ice cream. Was worth trying!
