Cosy little place located behind Liebig St. Visited back in March, food was fresh and good. Don’t expect it to be the authentic version you get back in Malaysia, but a different version suited for the locals.

We had Nasi Lemak with 1. Rendang beef and 2. Hokien spiced pork. We also ordered the popiah. The food was delicious and I found that the serving was large. The staff (I think they're the owners) were nice and seemed friendly. Date of visit: July 2022

Beautiful setting, very clean, friendly young owner also the chef cook! Grandpa from Penang so no cincai there. They have something new to me.. Nasi lemak vegan! and it's so delicious that i finished it all. my kids ordered laksa Penang, Chicken curry laksa and drinks Tea C ice. They're normally too particular with laksa taste but this time they love it. Definitely will come back for more. Highly recommended this place.

6 of us came from Melbourne for a golf trip and found the Penang Alley sign in Leibig street and thought we'd try it out. Omg the food was amazing. Outdoor seating was enough for us all, the service was amazing and the meals were outstanding.

OMG! I can so recommend Penang Alley. I’ve come to Warrnambool for work and was looking for Asian food. Found this cute little Hawker style Malaysian stall which is off the main shopping boulevarde.
I ordered the Penang laksa and Malaysian ice coffee with condensed milk!! Authentic and 😋 😋!

The owner is half Malaysian. The outdoor set up is like being in Penang at a local food court and has umbrellas for under cover.

Must visit to come to Warrambool, nice alley serve delicious Penang food. Strongly recommended.

Hidden food gem in heart of Warrnambool. Very tasty food and friendly service. Laksa was delicious, good amount of spice and not overpowering other flavours. Highly recommend.

What a delight. Not traditional but delicious all the same! Wont drive through Warrnambool without stopping here.

This was delicious, we ate here after a drive and wanted somewhere quiet and little noise and it was exactly what we needed. I got the chicken Kari with extra veg and it was so homely. Highly recommend

I rate it quite highly for the flavours and atmosphere. My experience there was definitely close to authentic Malay flavours and hospitality, not to mention a very cool setup. I had Popiah and Mackerel soup, was a very happy comforted human after that great chow down!

Not easy to find good Malaysia food in Australia. But this is a very nice place to satisfy the craving.
